We arrived late at night, they were waiting for us, big smile on their face. Luckenwalde is a small town and there were no open shops around. There were 2 big bottles of sparkling water in the room waiting for us, free of charge. This was a true life saver. We went there for a wedding, that was happening 10 km away from the hotel early in the morning, and when the transport we had arranged canceled on us, the lovely person at the reception helped us out and got us a taxi (which is really hard to get there). When we got back from the wedding at 02:00 am, and they had left us 2 more bottles of water, we couldn't be more thankful!

Easy to get to near the train station and city centre

No tea or coffee machine and no kettle in the room the restaurant was closed and was told by reception to go to the city centre which isn’t far 10 min walk but poor show when travelled from England and wanted to relax on my bed for a couple of hours with a nice cup of tea 😡

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Small bar on-site with food. Great breakfast!

We were a bit surprised that the Hotel was actually in the upper floors of a building with doctor's surgeries and pharmacy, so not a classical lobby entrance etc. But apart from that, we were positively surprised with the comfort and service. If you are noise-sensitive, some rooms are facing the street, so passing cars on cobblestone may be an issue. For the rear facing rooms, these were fairly hot as sun-facing, furthermore, there was an early rubbish collection in the back yard that disturbed morning sleep. Not a problem though if you keep windows shut.

To have a restaurant right there was great, the breakfast was pretty good (they even had bacon and eggs :))

Everything was great. But if i have to say something it would have been nice to have Netflix in the Tv, and the cooffee was so so (in comparison with the rest of the nice breakfast)

We stay in this hotel every year during business trip. Breakfast is very good and a lot of choice to eat. Rooms are clean and beds are fine.

We were received warmly by a very friendly receptionist, who explained all procedures during corona times to us, also how we get into the hotel at night after 10, as we planned to visit the spas nearby. We had a bottle of champagne with us and the staff was kind enough to allow us some ice and a bottle cooler to take up to the room. We can only recommend Hotel Märkischer Hof.

Food in the restaurant and breakfast were very nice. Spacious rooms.

Uncomfortable pillows, but had same experience with all German hotels.
