it is not your standard hotel type as the rooms are located in different buildings and there is no reception. Plus it looks like it is under renovation. This said the rooms are really big, at least the ones we occupied. I had the 21 and big is actually an understatement. The shower is also a big one with very good water pressure. Breakfast is awesome and I'm very picky about it. Staff very friendly and you even the option to get your motorcycle in a closed box. The hotel is located in the city center and you can quickly access restaurants etc. In one word definitely recommended

This hotel is in a great location in the Altstadt and very close to all the shops and restaurants. The room was larger than expected and comfortable and warm (it was January). Very fairly priced. The breakfast is in the cafe and made to order. I was waiting for my colleague and he was running late and the staff even offered to make a second breakfast since it was near lunchtime. The room also has the all important water boiler and various teas including decaf to choose from.

This was not an issue for me, but be aware that you will have to walk up steps to your room. This was also not an issue for me, but be aware there is no staff in the cafe in the later afternoon and evening.

A small beautiful hotel located in an old building that gives it a cozy atmosphere. At the same time, the building is well-renovated and has all modern amenities in good condition: heating, modern bathroom, comfortable beds, sound isolation. The cafe downstairs is super cozy too, and the breakfast is delicious and offers good variety. The staff was very kind and friendly and made me feel at home. I booked a room for one but got a two-room suite. The room had everything I needed: an iron (THANK YOU), a tea/coffee set, free water.

If you arrive on a holiday or in the afternoon, no one will be at the reception, and you need to call the hotel to receive the key. I recommend using the phone number given in the Booking.com confirmation.

What a wonderful, elegant and cozy place to live on the border of the amazing Sauerland and the larger cities of West Germany. The room, location and the restaurant were both lovely and clearly run by people who care. Thank you to the amazing people who work there. It is close to many great restaurants and local bus stops making it a no brainier if you are coming to Lüdenscheid.

Everything, the room is warm,clean, and welcoming you. The host and staff members are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is stunning , and everything is prepared and cooked to perfection. I slept like a baby, and the shower is a hit.

Great hotel, wonderful stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pictures of the rooms do not do the hotel justice. The bathroom was large and the shower very nice. All the staff were welcoming and attentive. The breakfast had very large choice and of a high standard.

There is nothing not to like in this hotel

The room was clean, spacious, and even had two TVs with a wide selection of channels. The room also contains an extra single bed. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Ample parking spaces adjacent to the hotel.

The "double" bed contained two single mattresses instead of one double. Otherwise, the bed was of good quality and very comfortable.

Only stayed one night on our way across Germany to Goslar in the Harz Mountains, it was all was good and the owner recommended a great restaurant to eat called Schwejk 4,7 (828)
