Sabrina, the owner, is a pure joy to come across. The passion and care she puts into running this family hotel are astonishing and her smile is contageous. The hotel is extremely well maintained, clean, has a lovely garden, and offers tasty breakfast. Room size was rather large for a single room with two windows, and there was a mini fridge. Sabrina also lent me a water heater. The location is good too, about 25 minutes walk from the main train station.

The wifi signal in my room was a bit weak.

The hotel is beautiful, very comfortable and with good location. Breakfast is very good and the staff is very friendly, even though some of the staff dont speak fluent English.

My room had a very poor internet connection so it was not good for working because the connection was very slow and falling every time, which is a clear indication of long distance from the router, because in the other parts of the hotel it worked perfectly.

Residenz Joop is located in a beautiful villa area, at walking distance from the center of Magdeburg. We were travelling with our dog and made a pre-arrangement with the hotel to take our four-legged friend with us, which was absolutely no problem. Public parking in the streets near the hotel was generally not a problem (however, don´t forget the mandatory green badge for the applicable low emission zone). We would highly recommend Residenz Joop for a stay in Magdeburg.

Two very tiny niggles, which are just me being fussy. - Needs more plug sockets in the room, especially one near the bed if it's possible. - A full length mirror would have been fabulous.

Easy to find, clean, cute room and surroundings in the hotel in general, nice with bathtub. Easy check in.

Breakfast was not the best, it was ok. But would find something elsewhere if coming back another time.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. We would stay again. The hotel is well placed to access Magdeburg; on foot, or by tram. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Hotel in a villa area in Magdeburg. The nice lady at the reception showed us where we could store our bikes (in the garage). We had two identical small rooms, quite cosy. The beds were just hard enough. Breakfast was quite standard - with a choice of cold and hot food. If you are travelling by bike - perfect place to stop in Magdeburg, the city centre is on your doorstep.

The location of the property is so pretty along a quiet street and a easy walk into town centre. Arrival and check in were cheerful and easy. The breakfast was lovely, traditional and very nicely presented

Wonderful old villa in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and bright room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Initial staircase to reception might be a little hard to climb for the elderly. Inside there is an elevator.

Tidy, small hotel in a quiet, nice area, in the walking distance to the city centre. Light room, comfortable bed, enough space in the room. Breakfast rather basic but in a nice dining room.

The hotel is very old-stylish. Staff was rather rough in contact, not showing welcoming atmosphere.
