The hotel is very quietly situated in a small village. It is old, but has been well modernised. Everything worked in the room and the shower was excellent. The restaurant was modern and clean, and the food was delicious.

We were seated in the restaurant, in the conservatory area and then ignored for 15 minutes until I went to ask for menus. The waitress explained it was a misunderstanding with her colleague and service was excellent from then on - but it should not have happened.

A big building in a small and very quiet town, while the restaurant was packed with locals and they serve great food. My single room as in the attic (no elevator) and is quite newly built. Breakfast was in a huge room where the owners were doing their administration and their daughter and grand children came over to have breakfast. Great atmosphere.

No elevator which makes carrying a heavy suitcase a workout to get to the room in the attic.

We were there as an overnight stop along our journey. We were positively surprised by the comfortable and spacious rooms. Everything was clean, the staff was nice and the atmosphere cozy. Can recommend to anyone. The surrounding area looked nice too but we did not have time to go exploring

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here. It is in the small and very quiet village of Korb nearby to Mockmuhl. We were in a recently renovated room that was very spacious and comfortable. Excellent restaurant for dinner and also an excellent breakfast.

Nothing we didn't like

Our family wanted to stay near the town where our ancestors emigrated from in the 1800s. This was perfect for that trip--a clean, comfortable, and warm guest house. We arrived late, but the staff made sure that we were able to get some food and have a restful evening.

A lovely hotel, good restaurant and they had decaffeinated coffee and oat or soya milk. A lovely room in the new extension, new from the last time we stayed here, and the staff were all very friendly.

A lift would have been good, but we do understand that it might be difficult to fit it in, given the age of the building. Apart from that everything was fine.

Breakfast was good, they offered to make scrambled eggs if I wanted. They allowed me to park my motorcycle in their garage! Room had A/C that worked great. Water pressure was very good for the shower.

Made to feel very welcome, excellent restaurant, great breakfast. Nice location and village too.
