We had a truly wonderful stay. The location is perfect—centrally situated, making it ideal for exploring the charming surroundings on foot. The pool and sauna are beautiful and provided just the relaxation we needed. Breakfast was excellent, but what truly set this place apart was the exceptional hospitality from every member of the staff. We arrived soaked from heavy rain and utterly exhausted, and were welcomed and accommodated with genuine warmth and care, to a standard that exceeded our expectations. After the day we’d had, we needed a proper 4-star experience—and that’s exactly what we received. Even our German Shepherd was treated like a valued guest and enjoyed his own 4-star snooze. And if he’s happy, then so are we. We’ll most certainly be returning.

Things to improve: 1. The matrace was hard and pillows uncomfortable 2. Rooms in the Leopold house need some renovations - especially the bathroom 3. Spa basket in the room would be nice 4. Spa needs renovation and the outside relaxation area needs maintenance - lawn was dirty and there were thorns and spines laying around which is dangerous if you step in 5. Restaurant Manager Nicola seemed to be moody one day and partially unfriendly

Right in the centre of town. The hotel has an underground parking garage (7€ a night) which was convenient. We booked this hotel for the wellness area. It looked like recently refurbished and exceeded our expectations. Beautifully appointed with towels and bathrobes provided, free water and coffee, pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Great breakfast buffet, very friendly staff. Our room was comfortable with mountain glimpses.

It seems to attract large groups of people and some of those were quite unbearably loud.

This was a very nice hotel with nice amenities. An excellent breakfast buffet was included, with lots of choices. The room was large and comfortable. Beds were also comfortable. The pool and spa area were very nice, although the spa (hottub) could have been warmer. The front desk gentelman was fine, but not what I would call friendly, but he was polite and efficient. The location is close to downtown shopping and restaurants, but insulated enough so you don't hear outside noice (except a light sound of the church bells). Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples, families, or singles.

What a beautiful hotel right in the center of Oberstaufen! We stayed in the apartment annex and it was so large and comfortable! Both the sofa bed and the queen bed were very comfortable. It was nice to have 2 toilet rooms and the kitchen. The breakfast in the main hotel was fantastic and our favorite of our trip. We also enjoyed one excellent dinner at the hotel. The beautiful swimming pool, spa and sauna were open until 9:00 pm so we had time to swimming and soak after dinner. We will stay here again!

The church bells did ring all night but we just closed the insulated window the 2nd night and it was much quieter.

We booked two apartments, a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom, in separate annex buildings during our stay. These apartments were lovely, well-equipped, and generally clean. The beds were comfortable, and despite the warm temperatures, it was cool enough inside. The town itself is charming and conveniently connected, making it a great base for exploring the area. However, I would like to provide some additional information, especially for non-German speaking visitors, regarding the parking situation. Each apartment comes with its own designated parking space, which is located underground and connected to the apartments via a lift. Each apartment has a designated parking spot labelled with its name. While this system is efficient, it may be confusing for non-German speakers. The key to the apartment also grants access to the garage. We cannot comment on the hotel's breakfast options as we chose not to partake. For those seeking self-catering, there is a Norma supermarket, just a short 7-minute walk from the apartments. The hotel's indoor pool was nice, and it even had swimming aids available for kids, making it a great amenity for families

One challenge we encountered was a slight language barrier with the reception staff, as they were not entirely fluent in English. This made it a bit more challenging to understand the parking system, but once we figured it out, everything ran smoothly.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a window. There were enough towels and bathrobes, too. The staff was always available, friendly, and kind. The breakfast was great, even offered milk alternatives and real honey. Pool had towels available and free drinking water. We had the possibility to park the bikes in a safe space. There was free drinking water at the reception and apples as well.

The bathroom sink had an issue that could have been fixed, but I forgot to tell them. The fitness room had a lot of cool things, but cables were hanging out, and it looked improvised and as wastenof fitness devices. But there was disinfectant and paper to clean everything, which is great.

We stayed for one night and wished we could stay longer. The sauna/pool facilities were great, beds extra comfortable and the bathroom very modern and well equipped. Our included breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend!

The plunge pool should be maintained a little bit more, as there were some leaves in it from people going outside to the patio and then straight into the pool. Other than the few leaves however, everything seemed perfectly clean!

Booked this hotel last minute and on the day of arrival, due to Deutsche Bahn chaos after the opening game of the Euro’s in Germany. Whereby we decided to give up on the trains in Oberstaufen. So glad we booked this as it was a lovely hotel. Staff were also brilliant and you could really tell that they enjoyed working there. Breakfast was also amazing!

We loved the staff and breakfast was amazing. The balcony and view were unbelievable. Everything was nearby, we loved the location.

Parking was ok but a little challenging. Town had a very tourist feel but still beautiful.
