Great location, about 5-10 min walk from the center of Oberstdorf, but only a minute in the other direction and you are out in nature. very quiet, you only hear the birds and the cow bells. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection of rolls, cheese, cold cuts, jam, eggs, cereal. Filter coffee was great, but there was also an option for fancier coffee drinks. Juices were also available. Cozy 'Stube' for breakfast. Fridge available if you want to store food. You can help yourself to very reasonably priced beverages in the evening and get charged the next day, based on the honor system. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Great value for money. VERY friendly and helpful hosts! We got great recommendations for places for dinner from the host.

The Fideliushaus is great, the owner is a very kind and helpful person. The room exceeded our expectations, it was spacious, pretty and incredibly clean. It had everything needed. The quality to price ratio is amazgin!

Sadly the breakfast, drying room and sauna was in another building, so you always need to dress up and go outside. It was uncomfortable that some guests were going to the sauna naked and judging us if we didn't. - Even in original Finnish sauna, people who don't know each other won't be naked, out of curtesy.

The excellent location (5-10 minutes walk to the Nebelhorn cable car, the skating rink, the railway station, the shopping area, :the hiking trails), the confort, the cleanliness;

Nothing actually. I noticed that toiletry was basic (just a shower gel, no shower cap, no support for the shower gel în the shower cabin), but these are small things that did not bother me. The place is nice, quiet, clean and very comfortable, at a very good price/quality ratio.

Location great especially for getting the cable car first thing. Breakfast was good and nice views from the hotel.

Being able to leave luggage would be good (you can't if wanting to pick up between 12-2 eg if you checkout and your train is later) and there wasn't any soap in the room so I ended up buying some. A kettle in the room would be nice.

Breakfast was relatively simple but good quality and perfectly adequate. The location was excellent, 12-15 minutes by foot from the centre, quiet, with breath-taking views of the alps.

Everything about the hotel was good. However, in general, more hotels in Oberstdorf should offer summer tickets for the cable cars as part of their package. The prices for a single ride are exorbitant. The discount one receives for paying the "Kurtaxe" is laughable: one euro! On the plus side, this encourages walking up the steep ascents as part of a day hike, but it also means that one cannot hike much more than one mountain in one day.

The hotel was very cozy, the design was in a typical bavarian "hunter theme". The staff was very polite and friendly, room was warm and clean. The organisation of the breakfast went very well (because of Covid 19 there wasn't an open buffet but you could order standard german breakfast food to the table). If you're travelling without car it's a perfect location. 15 min walk till the main railway station, 10 min to the centre (supermarkets, shops, cafes), 15 min walk to the Nebelhornbahn (ski lift).

As I haven't had big expectations, i was happy with everything.

Very nice host, helped us with every advice possible. The room is spacious, warm, with a big balcony. Breakfast is very good. Very good value for money. Has its own parking. View is gorgeous, location also good.

Nothing to mention, all was good. Wish we stayed more, but next time.

All the staff were very professional and friendly. I felt very welcome to stay here. I will definitely be returning!
