The location was perfect--easily walkable to town. Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a great spread of food in a cheerful room, so clean and beautifully decorated. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The adjustable beds were the best! Haven't slept that well in a decade. It's an older hotel that doesn't have as much street presence, but the interior is great. The parking lot is an appreciated benefit but a bit tight and sometimes remaining spots are challenging to park in. Nevertheless I will be back.

Excellent Hotel Stay near the opera. The rooms were recently renovated and very comfortable. There was a small kitchenette with a kettle and refrigerator in the room, also tea, coffee and bottled sparkling water were kindly provided. A highlight was the beds with motorized elevation function, which provided exceptional comfort. All amenities were modern and well-maintained. Highly recommended for travellers seeking a pleasant and contemporary accommodation.

Excellent hotel in a convenient location. The room was very comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. Excellent breakfast and dinner (optional) was superb. Particular mention should be made about the staff who were friendly and in particular the lady who served at the bar (Canadian/German ) who was very entertaining and made an evening very enjoyable. All prices in the hotel are reasonable and in short one of the best value hotels I have stayed in recently.

Lovely family run Hotel with staff committed very successfully to their work. Polite, helpful, receptionist with flawless English provided a map and we had a pleasant evening meal in the dining room after a stroll around the town. They sent very helpful and essential arrival instructions which Sat Navs don't all recognise. Great parking behind a barrier and beneath the hotel. Not bookable but not full. Lovely breakfast, amazing choice. Hotel is within 100 metres of three Art Galleries and they allowed us to check out but keep the car park space while we visited them. (One modest entrance fee covers them all. Bakery next door for sandwiches.)

It isn't Lubeck but the town has some similarly attractive features.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We booked a room and said we would be there in an hour. When we got there, we were greeted by name and our room was ready for us! After losing my iPhone charger, they loaned me one for the night! The room was immaculate…and very user friendly…with even a free bottle of sparkling water! The breakfast was very good, and the check out time was 11:30. The shower was big, and the room accoutrements were fresh and lively. There were beautiful fresh flowers in the hallway on the way to our room! The woman at the front desk (Gesa))was not only efficient, she was very welcoming and helpful ! Thank for for a wonderful and memorable stay! One of our best European hotel experiences ever!

Everything was perfect!

A privately owned, first rate hotel. Room is large, well decorated, comfortable, with an excellent shower. The bed is fully adjustable with a remote control and the room had lots of light and top notch WiFi. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The receptionists (owners) were friendly and helpful.

Hotel Wieting has a long history in Oldenburg as advertised by the lovely antiques scattered throughout the floors in a tasteful way. At the same time it’s up to date with modern facilities and rooms that even boast individually adjustable beds. The cozy breakfast room, delicious breakfast and excellent service were the perfect start to my day.

Great location just a 10min level walk to bars restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had great choices and dishes replenished constantly. The restaurant provided a good choice and the food was very good.

Nothing everything was great.

The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms (I had booked 2 rooms) were very comfortable. The shower and WC were separate from each other. The location very good - it is 5 min walk from Oldenburg center. 2 art museums are at the same street as the hotel.

This is our favourite hotel when we come to Oldenburg to visit family. It’s central, clean, comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful with our requests.
