Nice hotel, located at beachfront. Nice and friendly staff at the reception, cleaning lady was super nice. Room was comfortable, good mattress. If you get rooftop terrace towards forest, you will get a lot of sun. We had terrace in house nr 1, towards forest, to the east; it was sun from early in the morning to about 1500. Pet friendly. Very good breakfast, with sparkling wine:). Staff does all best to meet your needs. Swimming pool downstairs, with hot sauna. The hotel is good, solid, with good materials, good planning, cosy and nice. It is a bit worn out, but still much better than modern, plastic, gray- coloured hotels. The hotel leaves overall good, positive impression.

Elevators are only for the brave. It smells metal and grease as an old steam locomotive. Hesitates to start and to stop, produce unpleasant sounds, shakes. Each tour with elevator was successful for us, yet we avoided it as much as we could. If you stay in house 1, to the east, you will be bothered a bit by delivery services to to the hotel, but it is minor.

Lovely hotel, just across the road from the beach and within a short walking distance from the sea bridge. The beach outside the hotel is quite nice. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Parking was covered and adequate. Rooms were well equipped and super comfortable. Staff was very helpful, and both check-in and check-out took a matter of minutes. Breakfast was really good - in terms of variety, quality and taste. The pool area was a little small but quite nice. Saunas were good too. Providing a couple of free drinks in the minibar as well as a water bottle during departure was a nice touch.

There is no dedicated kids play area (indoor or outdoor) at the hotel premises. Also, kids can use the pool only for an hour in the morning and a couple of hours in the evening - this isn't great if you are traveling as a family and it ends up raining while you are there.

We will be coming to this hotel many times more. We love the breakfast, it is not only great food but also in a very nice dining area. We love the hotel staff, who at one time were the only hotel who took us in in the middle of the night after another hotel on the island turned us away. The staff was also super accommodating for our dog. The rooms are big and the location is quiet and safe, at the very end of the beach with tall green hills behind it. We have a feeling that it is great for all times of the year. It is also a perfect place to host a wedding, as the Standesamt is the white architectural masterpiece just outside of it

The soap/shampoo in the shower should be more generous and better quality. It is not enough, and the soap/shampoo in 1 small bottle is not so "5 star". Some mosquito nets on windows or an option to have a plug in mosquito repellent could also be nice, but these are small details :)

We had a room looking on the garden, not the sea and I think it was much more secluded and peaceful than the ocean would've been. In general - an amazing old building, with nice amenities. Spacious rooms. An actual spa and sauna setup which could put Vabali to shame. Nice staff. Right by the sea. Really awesome included buffet breakfast. Overall.. a great find.

Would really love to have an actual double or queen bed, with a single blanket to be shared by partners. Some of the sauna rooms were not fully functional. Parking onsite was super convenient.. but a bit pricey for the full day.

Many cars and few parking spaces No staff to welcome you for the half board, left us uncertain how to behave when arriving at the restaturant

The hotel is great for a short weekend trip! We kindly got upgraded to a sea view room. We really enjoyed the spa and pool area - it was calm and relaxing. The breakfast had plenty of options. The location is the best part - just a short walk to the beach and main street down the promenade.

The WiFi was very bad (enough for basic browsing but you wouldn't be able to work with it).

It's an excellent hotel from start to finish. The staff are highly professional and the facilities are great. The location couldn't be better.

location is perfect, right at the beach in a not so busy area, beautiful look into the forest from the back of the hotel. very relaxing atmosphere. very nice staff. breakfast until 11:30 am which we really enjoyed. nice pool area, not very big but well furnished and nicely designed and set up the room was spacious for as family of 4 and the layout with the walk-in closet space could not have been better. cleanliness was excellent.

furniture is outdated and in some places quite worn, clearly not modern 5 star level. however, the rest of the positive aspects would always make us come back.

Service was very good and made it for a comfortable stay. Pool was lovely. Location was great. Hotel in total was very nice.

The beds were too soft and springy (nothing close to 5 star). The shower (no bath) was very small and the curtains always stuck to the body no matter where you stood in the shower. Housekeeping never replaced shampoo or other toiletries - so we always had to go to the front desk to get some new ones. Breakfast was normal, but always running after salt, sugar, and other little details.

perfect location right at the sea side, great breakfast, huge variety of food. Grat SPA facilities, with no people in it, which was a nice surprise. I would recommend it because of that but be aware of the expensive parking.

Do not expect 5 star hotel, the beds are not much comfortable, we had terrible noise every morning as the loading of glass bottles to the hotel was just in front of our window. But the thing which can really ruin your day is when you pay 21 EUR FOR EACH DAY OF PARKING ON THE GRASS!! Not even in the garage but ouside behind the hotel on the grass. Thats the most expensive parking I have ever paid.
