The location is very good - just on the edge of the town centre, making it an easy walk to more or less everything you could need. The staff are all friendly and helpful, but extra credit has to go to the night porter working over the weekend; he kept the bar open until 2am for us and was incredibly friendly. We had some good conversation while he made us drinks - it was definitely the highlight of our stay.

The rooms can get incredibly warm and there's no air conditioning (a fairly standard setup in Germany, in my experience). Make sure you ask for a fan for your room as it makes a summer night much more tolerable.

This Hotel is screaming out to be updated. Could even go up a star or 2 if it was updated. The shower is small but powerful. No air conditioning, uncomfortable at night. Attention to detail, small repairs to be done. But I would still recommend a stay.

Fabulous location in the heart of the city. Safe underground car park (we were on a motorcycle) with very reasonable fee (€10) per night which is good for city centre hotel. Great breakfast. Plentiful selection. Super staff who were multilingual. Good shower & good shower gel.

Very small room but this is what you get with an Ibis. Room too hot. Unable to cool it down.

The location of the hotel is very good as it is close to the city center. Also, there are bus stations near the hotel which gives one an opportunity to use public transport to get to different places. What is more, Paderborn main train station is not far away (about 20 min on foot).

I have no complaints.

The staff! So welcoming and friendly. I asked for a fan during the night and the night staff gladly obliged which I really appreciated it, it wasn’t a problem. Room was really clean (old fashioned interior but clean). From a price point it’s really good value for money

it’s within walking distance to the old town area and the train station. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel because it is quiet, clean, and convenient. There are quite a few good restaurants nearby.

Shower is small and if you didn’t position the shower head properly, water gets out onto the bathroom floor.

I selected this hotel based on its location, which is right at the edge of the city center, and its early breakfast starting time of 6:30 on a Saturday. All of the facilities were well above average, though nothing remarkable. A good comfortable stay with everything attended to.

Very clean including the room. Location was also good as it was walking distance to the town center and all the shops and transport.

The shower cubicle was very small and a struggle for larger builds. The breakfast was also pricey. No options on milk i.e. for those who are lactose intolerant.

great location, easy to walk to and from the city. bus stop close by. room was super quiet even though window was facing the main road. comfortable bed. very clean!! stayed for one night and it was perfect for that! easy check in & check out.

couldn’t find a heater (regulation). it wasn’t freezing but would have loved it a little warmer.
