We really enjoyed our three nights stay here. The room was large, very clean and with a nice balcony. Breakfast was excellent, spanning from savoury warm dishes to sweets and fruit, also featuring excellent bread. Staff was welcoming and friendly. A large parking is conveniently located in front of the entrance.

At the vending machine you may want to indicate which items are beer and which ones are a mix of beer and sweet lemonade: the bottles look just the same and only after buying one it is possible to read the rear label, and find out to have unfortunately bought the latter.

Very kind gentleman in the restaurant; excellent breakfast; super clean room; perfect bed: very clean and comfortable; the young lady at reception at arrival performed satisfactory but should LOVE her job - it would help both her and the clients.

No lift to the section of the building I stayed; the curtains do not block outside light, the radiators got noisy during night when the heating is off; the light in room should be stronger

Booked 2 rooms for 4 people. Rooms were clean with the one on the upper floor being provided with a fan which was handy given the hot weather at the time of our visit. The windows had insect screens which was also appreciated. Plenty of pillows for the beds. 4 Euros parking fee for an overnight stay.

Everything was perfect. The room was cozy and quiet, breakfast was great and catered for our Gluten free request and the team there was overall great.

It seems there is not a main light in the room (Unless we are blonde and could not find it), just the bed side lights so it was a little bit darker in the room than we are used to.

If you're hovering over the book button and reading reviews - go for it you won't be disappointed. Firstly incredibly helpful and friendly staff - thanks everyone for making my stay even better. The restaurant is outstanding - it's fine cuisine so be prepared to pay accordingly but i found the prices v fair and totally worth it. I'd had a few hard day's cycling when I arrived so the sauna was an absolute dream, and I had a massage as well. Shame the ice bath wasn't working but that whole part of the hotel is done really well. I was here for two nights, would have happily stayed for a week if I could, it completely revived me. And reichenau is a lovely, secluded, quiet part of Bodensee with amazing views, perfect for a restful break.

Missing a nightstand and a plug by the bed I thought the breakfast was a bit expensive, large selection but style quite standard, ie no local products or organic ones

super cosy room with all amenities. diner on the green terrasse with excellent food. I love also the island of Reichenau and the hotel is at a footstep of the wonderful shore of the Rhein untersee

This is an excellent hotel in every way, good location on a beautiful island where the service is tip top, good parking and staff who were eager to please and make you feel very welcome. The breakfasts were excellent.

Everything was great. The staff was very helpful. Everything was just perfect 👌

It is missing coffee and tea facilities in the room. If you want a coffee in the morning you have to go all the way to the restaurant.

Lovely room in the hotel in centre of Reichenau. Fabulous food at the restaurant.

Watch out for Restaurant Mohren as signs for Hotel Ganter not very prominent.
