When we pulled in, the place was packed with cameras — the VfB Stuttgart football team had just arrived! Despite the buzz, a hotel attendant came straight to our car, helped with luggage, and parked it for us. Our room wasn’t ready yet, so we relaxed in the lobby and ordered from the hotel kitchen. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, pricey, but fitting for a 5-star spot. As a sweet anniversary gesture, we received two drink vouchers for the bar. Once the room was ready, a staff member personally found us, gave a quick intro to the hotel amenities, and escorted us upstairs. Our luggage followed shortly after. Inside the room: complimentary minibar, a gorgeous cake with treats, a chilled bottle of champagne, and a personalized letter. The room was spotless, peaceful, and the bed was extra comfy. Each day, two fresh water bottles were placed at our door when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was up — a subtle but appreciated detail. Breakfast was another highlight: a generous buffet with hot dishes, cold cuts, fruits, cheeses, pastries, cereals, and fresh-pressed orange juice. The coffee was rich and perfectly balanced. The wellness area was excellent. The indoor pool was spacious and relaxing, paired with a quality hot tub. The gym was well-equipped: bench press, cable machines, dumbbells up to 30kg, pull-up and dip bar set, and cardio machines. There was also a smaller outdoor pool and a private lakeside beach with loungers and discreet water access. At checkout, the staff booked us a restaurant and sent us off with water bottles and snacks for the road! A thoughtful finish to an already fantastic stay. And yes, we’ll absolutely be back!

- staff were professional - beautiful area and location - fridge was cold - had an early check in which was appreciated - dine in food was delicious - breakfast was out of this world - valet service is a plus - lobby was magnificent - the art in the hotel is very much worth watching and contemplating - loved the balcony - had a disturbance from some construction work above our room so we got an upgrade and changed the position of the room far away from the construction it shows you how true luxury hotels care for their guests

- beds were a little stiff but it doesn’t affect the overall stay - a few cups in the rooms could’ve been cleaned better

Rooms are big and clean, staff was very friendly. Amazing pianist was playing in the evening. Very dog friendly. Fruits choice for breakfast was great

The Location is perfect. The hotel is incredibly comfortable, spacious and clean. The rooms are spacious, with stunning views over the lake and mountains. The staff are welcoming, and the restaurants and bar areas are beautifully laid out. All in all, a wonderful experience. An excellent base for exploring, hiking, and generally enjoying the stunning area.

- no air conditioning, a small air conditioner is provided to cool the rooms. It works well but the heat is still overpowering. - a bit pricey

Stanislaw who works at the door is an incredible asset to this hotel. I also really appreciated the breakfast crew and we moved the upgraded room we recieved. Thank you so much for that. Food is also excellent

All is really good, even though for my taste the waiters on the terrace and in the restaurants are a bit too functional for my taste. I like a more personal style better. Still this is nick picking. Full marks

We stayed for our 2nd wedding anniversary. It was our 2nd time stay (last time was with my wife, and this time welcoming our new born baby). The room, facility and staffs are truly excellent, we could enjoy the every moments in this hotel. We will definitely stay here again.

The Hotel is located at the great southern part of the Tegernsee. the surrounding is quiet, nice, green and right at the lake.The restaurant options are great and the entire hotel is outstaning

The hotel is luxurious I used to go more then 15 years ago when It was new built They use to keep The same excellent level is maintained with advances in cuisine and more entertainment and electronic means. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the stunning natural scenery.
