The hotel is just perfect. It was full the weekend we were there but it didn’t feel busy at all because of the layout of the hotel. The spa was incredible with amazing views over the lake. The heated outdoor pool was a joy as were all the saunas. The staff were excellent. From reception to the bar and the restaurant they could not have done more for us. They even found a conference room me to work and take calls from on the Friday. Tegernsee is one of my favourite places anyway but Das Tegernsee just made it even more special. We will return 100%!

Location of hotel was nice and our room had an amazing view of the lake. Got an upgraded room, with balcony and it was a nice size with a separate seating area. The breakfast spread was amazing and had so many choices. Staff was very helpful and it is a short walk into town (a steep incline when walking back). The hotel sits above the lake and provides amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Plenty of parking as well!

EVERYTHING! We loved it. We had rented the Junior Suite and loved it. The breakfast was lush and had everything one could ask for! We went in the wintertime, and with the snow all around it was like a fairytale. On top of the hill overseeing the lake was amazing as well as the mountains on the side. Appreciated the Spa! and the Saunas. We also liked that the different buildings were connected and you had to walk to get around. We would like to highlight the hospitality of the staff as well.

Nothing to improve per se but just to be aware. The hotel offers amazing spa facilities with different Saunas. Which we enjoyed. There are also different areas where after the Sauna you can lie down and relax. One of them is in a more public space next to the pool. One of them is allocated in a "quiet/room area" If families are traveling with children and they use the indoor pool in the Spa area, the quiet room is not so quiet anymore :D We do not feel bothered by that at all but just for the sensitive ones among us to be aware of.

all the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and considerate, the location above the Tegernsee beautiful and the breakfast truly comprehensive and of excellent quality. EV stations in the garage even though some connection issues on the day, which were effectively resolved by reception staff.

while not an own impediment a lot of stairs with no obvious elevator solutions between floors, especially in the chateau and connection to main building which were needed on a rainy day

I really liked the spa facilities and the luxurious feeling. Room was comfy and the staff delivered to an exceptional and personalised degree. Bubbles for breakfast and the variety in the breakfast club was also very nice.

Nothing I can think of. I guess an ocean view from the room would be cooler, but nothing I expected. I was unsure of the "mobile phone" policy though in the silent relaxing room - as the signs on the door says "sush, no phone kind of sign/ no phone" ... and then several guests were on their phone constantly ... not a biggie, just what I think can be improved

The service was exceptional The spa area was well equipped with wonderful views. Our lakeview room was spacious, clean and lovely to sit on the balcony.

The room was quite hot, and the fan didn't work so great. We had to shut the windows in the evenings for mosquitoes, which meant limited airflow.

The return walk from town is very steep uphill.

Location, comfort, facilities. Our room 306 with lake view would have been 100 percent excellent, if it weren’t for the toilet combined with the bathtub.

There were some issues with Gastekarte and room key, that were reported to the room service and reception departments: after room cleaning above cards were missing in the room. The hotel administration should more carefully select and train personnel assigned to rooms cleaning.

The breakfast room/view was amazing as well as the breakfast selection. Very comfortable, clean and cozy rooms. Spa area very nice as well, great sauna’s

Dinner options (a la carte) at the in-house restaurant were okay. Also wished there was room service

This was the best spa hotel we ever visited. The level of the facilitates were just mind blowing… The room was exceptional, we stayed in building Wallberg with lake view. The spa facilities were out of this world, with 6 saunas specially the panoramic one, the pool with open air exit and the relaxation room… The staff service was just amazing.
