Nice bathroom. The breakfast was good. Close to the parking and it was free.

The bed was a little bit to stiff.

The hotel a s room were lovely and the restaurant very good.

We were kept awake til mid night by exceptionally loud music fro. The bar/ party across the road, also lots of noisy shouting and screaming. In the morning of weekday , lots of noisy teenagers arriving at school across the road from 7 am

I was only able to sample one breakfast - which was fine and well up to standard. My schedules meant leaving each morning at 06:30 (05:00 on departure day) well before the room was open, The overall standard of the hotel was excellent, pleasantly decorated and with well equipped bathroom.

The hotel seems to have no resident management? My 'booking contract' stated check-in from 15:00 to 20:00hrs - personally advised time was 17/18:00hrs - my actual arrival was 18:30. DISASTER!!! The whole place was locked-up and in total darkness!!! A sign for the restaurant showed 'CLOSED TUESDAY', There was NO RESPONSE to the night-bell, ...NO RESPONSE to the given telephone number, NOTHING, Several local people took pity on me and their phoning_knocking ringing had the same NO RESPONSE. In desperation I tried your Booking.com emergency help line.....JOKE!!! The automated system asked for my ref. followed by the #key.....did this FOUR times and simply repeated the request. WHY BOOK WITH YOU IF THIS IS THE HELP I GET??? Eventually the helpers recommended a larger hotel outside the town. The owners were very helpful and were APPALLED that Teichotel treated me so badly. They immediately phoned them on mobile and told me to return there where I would be met and checked-in, The young couple (owners??) were pleasant but NO APOLOGY was given for the DISASTROUS beginning. I never saw them again, The hotel reception was never manned, The Restaurant is run independently from the hotel and has nothing to with guests. Despite making PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS to settle my bill on the Saturday evening before my 05:00 departure Sunday......there was NO ONE THERE -NO BILL - NO MESSAGE - NOTHING. I calculated my bill, placed the cash in an envelope and wedged it beneath the door to the Kuche before leaving. THIS WAS A TOTALLY DEPRESSING AND DEEPLY WORRYING EXPERIENCE........AS AN EXPERIENCED TRAVELLER IN MY EIGHTIES I DO NOT NEED THE STRESS OF ARRIVING AT LOCKED HOTEL, ON A DARK NIGHT>>>>AFTER A 4OOMILE 9HOUR JOURNEY, (Oh yes......and the restaurant food gave me a bad stomach!)
