Nice, relatively small hotel in a beautiful area with a park, zoo and a lake. Very good breakfast, where you can also bring your dog, this is a big plus for us. Nice, flexible and helpful staff. We stayed in the hotel two times for a layover during our trip to Denmark and would come back anytime.

The staff speaks only little English, so if you don’t speak German, you might have some difficulties with the communication. The reception is only open until 9 in the evening.

Great location not too far away from the lake and directly at the fortress, the park, and the center. The breakfast was really good, nicely decorated with a good selection of options. Staff was very friendly. Everything very clean, welcoming atmosphere.

These are only minor aspects: Blankets are a bit thin, water takes a bit time to heat, and the WiFi was connecting but had no Internet access when I tried (but I cannot tell if this was just an exception).

We had a great stay, we had booked the suite. It was two big rooms, well and nicely equipped. The breakfast was really good, with a lot of different things to choose from.

The beds were a little bit too soft

Nice location: The hotel is close the the palace and park Senftenberg and quietly located. Also the lake is just 10min walk away and ideal for a swim during the hot summer months or just to walk along the sea front. I stayed in a refurbished room and in particularly the bathroom was new and super clean, very much appreciated. A decent breakfast was served and also I had dinner outside in the restaurant, which offers tasty food. Last but not least, free parking, which is always appreciated

I'm not sure but it seems a general problem across Germany's rural areas: the WIFI in the hotel was poor, slow speed and often no reliable.

The location was good for us , good breakfast and nice staff .

Everything good although we had a top floor apartment and it was quite a climb but no complaints.

I stayed for the second time in the hotel: It's a convenient location, just a 5min walk away from the palace and the lake, great for a swim. I was fortunate and stayed in a newly refurbished and decorated room including bathroom. Thus, I had a good rest. Also, the hotel serves good breakfast. Also I can recommend to have dinner in the restaurant. Last but not least, the hotel has free parking and reliable internet (if you come for business). Staff was very kind and helpful too!

Breakfast was very good. Hotel was easy to find and not far away from lake. Our stay was very short but I can imagine stay there for a week holiday.

There were one little problem with communication - the owner does n´t speak English and we dont´ speak German. But he was very friendly and with little help with translator in our mobile we understand everything.

Convenient for town restaurants and access to public transport. Excellent continental breakfast.

The rooms were clean and well-kept, the included a la carte breakfast was great, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful

The hotel does not have an elevator, so you may have problems if you pack a lot of luggage.
