This was a last minute booking due to a bad experience with a hotel in a nearby village - but a much better option. Pleasant small hotel with an interesting twist - the restaurant dining booths were huge wine barrels. Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with a good bed. No cleanliness issues. Good evening menu in English with a choice of wines (many home produced). Adequate breakfast - the lady made me very nice scrambled eggs and bacon in addition to the buffet options. Free car parking. Ideally located for the Sinsheim Tecknik Museum.

Slight traffic noise but not intrusive. Quiet between 2300 hrs > 0700 hrs.

The location was ideal for our travel plans. The room was clean and there was a good buffet breakfast. We also had dinner at the hotel which was typical tasty German fare and they had unique seating in huge wine barrels which was novel. Free car parking is available.

Having been offered and selected a room at the back of the hotel we were allocated a room at the front with a view of the castle. The room itself was fine but the traffic noise until late at night and early morning made sleeping more difficult. The windows needed an upgrade to cancel out the sound.

Nice small but very clean room. We had all we needed for a night's stay in September. Pet friendly as well. We had a very nice dinner in one of the barrels which was a unique experience, also breakfast was great. Very friendly staff. The location is lovely, we went up hill near the castle, lovely vineyards and friendly locals. Will stay here again but perhaps not suitable for a hot summer stay as there is no airconditioning in the room.

The shower doors were a bit wobbly but had no issues.

Service and food were really good, and the bed was very comfy. All was clean and really taken care of.

I could hear all the other house guests when they came upstairs, walking towards their rooms. A rather noisy hallway. The breakfast was really good and very friendly staff but it was really hot in the breakfast room. It's definitely great in the winter, ...but it wasn't.

Family run hotel, Restaurant was excellent, unique setting in oak wine barrels, great food and local wines served with ambiance ! Traditional German breakfast was perfect, with choice of freshly cooked fare prepared by attentive and helpful Kellner ! Location is quiet traditional village with overlooking castle and vineyards. Also very convenient for the Tech Museum in Sinsheim, which was also a fantastic place to visit.

Very nice accomodation with nice restaurant in the same building. There you can eat and drink some nice local wines. Interesting point in restaurant is that you can eat inside former wine barrels. Breakfast is also worth of buying (8 €/person/night), on top of buffet form of breakfast you can order scrambled or sunny-side-up eggs which are freshly made to your order.

I did not found anything which I found unpleasant or wrong.

Bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Restaurant areas with wine barrel booths and old woodworking tools were both unusual and genius. Breakfast was excellent value. Overall a great stay.

Not being able to check-in before 4pm was a nuisance but not a deal breaker.

The choice for breakfast was very good and we all found plenty to our liking. The countryside location was convenient to visit Sinsheim museum. Our evening meal in a wine cask was memorable.

Nice room with everything you need. Friendly staff. We especially liked the restaurant - we had an amazing dinner in a wine barrel. The wines are also exceptional.

No fridge in the room, but we haven't needed one.

The hotel is a lovely place to stay. It's sufficiently out of the way to be very quiet and yet a few minutes walk from the Technik Museum. The room was comfortable. Would stay again.
