Such good value, clean, comfortable, lovely breakfast, nice little mini bar, in centre of sinsheim, shops, cafes, takeaways, restaurants. Found Sinsheim nice, it's not a tourist trap, but is clean and functional and has an amazing cafe/chocolate shop everyone should visit for super cake. Fantastic park across the road for those with kids. Great place to stay to visit technic museum. Staff were really helpful with parking, there are a couple of spaces right outside, an underground carpark with a few spaces (but quite tight to get in and out). Plus they give ticket for free parking across the road if theirs is all full. Receptionist came outside with me to point it out and gave really detailed instructions.

Very convenient location, friendly staff at the reception. Room was OK, we appreciated 4 bed room options as we travelled with 2 kids.

We got room at the top, near roof and it was a hot day, so we suffered quite high temperature during the whole night. And locals started to celebrate football game win (Round of 16! which not even interesting!) with car horns for 1 hour around midnight - the only time when you could start getting fresh colder air to the room :-( Obviously not fault of the accommodation, but the heat in the room could be improved (better isolation of the roof or AC unit).

It was a joy to stay here. Room for myself was compact but extremely comfortable, beautifully clean and well decorated and perfect for my requirements. Staff were excellent - including cleaners, breakfast assistant, reception. A special 'thank you' to the young lady in reception who was so helpful, arranged ticket for the technical museum and spent time checking my transport requirements. Breakfast was varied and delicious. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The fact my itinerary meant I couldn't stay longer. Any 'dislike' would be pedantry - even if I could think of something!

What a great place! Check-in was super easy and the friendly gent at the front desk gave me all the necessary info (breakfast, wifi, etc). The room was perfectly sized for me with an ensuite bath that was great! WOW! What a great breakfast! Also, the people who work the breakfast were very friendly...even though I didn't speak any German. When it was time to leave, it was an easy 10 minute walk to the train / bus station.

Breakfast was excellent, including the best coffee we have found yet in Germany. The welcome was fast and friendly even though we arrived at a busy time. The restaurant attached served great pizza and again service was fast and friendly. Parking in the public car park was a minute’s walk away. All in all, a really good stay.

The Auto Technik Museum, which is why I was in town, took about 25 minutes to walk to from the hotel. And there are several restaurants near the hotel, including the attached one which was great and had the friendliest staff. My room was a single so it was small but perfectly clean, quiet and had everything I needed. The shower was a bit tight but the water pressure was great. Breakfast was also good with hot items like eggs and bacon as well as breads, meats, cheeses, cereal and fruit. There's a small bar in the lobby where you can have a drink or take one to your room. There's also a very reasonably priced minibar in each room. This hotel was a very affordable and I enjoyed staying here and the pleasant walk to the museum. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to town.

Like I said before, the shower was a bit small but did the job perfectly. I can't think of anything negative to say about this charming hotel.

Everything was very well at the Bär! We felt welcome, the room in the roof was prepared very well for our family of four. Thank you!

The loundry truck was blocking the garage exit for 30 minutes! we lost about 20 min by leaving the hotel. That could be organized better by the Bär.

The bed and pillows are comfortable. Parking is available. Have a restaurant available for dinner at decent prices and also do breakfast.

Noise from staff and other guests is easily heard. There is no tea or coffee facilities in room.

Stylish hotel, super spacious room no. 450 on the top floor, very clean. Comfortable beds. At walking distance to Sinsheim Museum and Tropical Island. Simple but nice breakfast in a tiny dining room. Friendly staff.

Little space in the underground parking for getting in and out with a family car. The hotel restaurant was closed during our stay.

The staff were very helpful and friendly with the receptionist coming outside to show me the options for parking. The room was rather smaller than expected but it was well equipped and had a good bathroom. Breakfast was good and at a very reasonable price compared with many other places I have stayed. The restaurant and bar are open until late.

The view from my window was the fire escape and a wall. No sign of sky or anything else so it felt rather enclosed and claustrophobic. The bed was so soft and bouncy that it was like trying to sleep on a trampoline. Some people may like this but it was far too bouncy for me. Despite this, I think the pluses outweigh the negatives and would certainly consider staying there again on a stopover. If it wasn't for these points I would have given a score of 10.
