Room was great clean with good facilities Bathroom again very clean with hairdryer soap etc Breakfast was very good and plenty of it much more then expected at the cost which is included in the room price We also had dinner in the hotel as it looked so nice and we were not let down it tasted very good and was hot All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly Thank you
For our party of four We found nothing at all Not that we were looking People are quick at finding fault But praise is hard The staff at this Hotel deserve a lot of praise

good. nice range of things to eat
On Saturday the 17 th of September, I beesed to catch an early train to STendal. I was not sure how long it would take me to walk to th station , it took me 25 minutes. The signage for a pedestrian was not very clear. i bot the train, but only just. The Hotel am Rathaus is a little further than other's. breakfast being served at 8 a.m. on a Saturday made it a little more difficult.

We enjoyed our stay here and would come back again. There was parking for our bicycles, the breakfast was nice (buffet style), and our room had a nice view and good natural light.
Not such a big deal, but the floor seemed a bit dusty/dead bugs in the corner. Everything else was clean!

Everything was brand new. We really thought it’s gonna be worst stay according to bookings rating the hotel had. I am confused to this day why the rating is low because hotel was clean, refurnished, staff was really pleasant. Breakfast was lacking variety of food but overall the best thing is value for money. I could not expect more from a small hotel in a small German town for the money I payed.
Even though the staff is really friendly but the communication skills in English are poor.

Good situation, clean spacious room. Shower good, too.
Breakfast selection v average, very dark room! No staff around, not very welcoming.
