A lovely family-run hotel with an on-site brewery! The location is fantastic: very close to everything: the city centre, major sightseeing attractions, and the river Elbe. The rooms are large, cosy, and impeccably clean, with comfy beds. Great breakfast; staff were all helpful, welcoming, and kind. I especially enjoyed the on-site museum and the many beautiful old plates displayed in the hallways - with wonderful memories of the past. During the pre-Xmas season, they even host a charming Christmas market in their courtyard!

Most of the rooms are quite dated now (though still functioning perfectly well), and occasionally, you might hear loud-talking neighbours.

Very helpful and friendly staff! They allowed us to keep items in the restaurant freezer. Adequate, comfortable hotel, good for an overnight in a charming, historic town that is well worth seeing.

Charging guests for parking on the hotel grounds is petty.

Like a fairytale. The hotel is located in the middle of the beautiful historical center of Tangermünde. From the window of our room we could see Burg Tangermünde, the Eulenturm and St .Stephen's Church. Nice and helpful staff, rooms were clean and well equipped. The breakfast was tasty and we also tried the local beer, which you can buy here. The hotel consists of several buildings. A small museum with an interesting collection of antique tools is part of the hotel complex. We also saw a wedding party here during our stay. This place has an interesting atmosphere that combines history with the comfort of modern times. We were here for a short time, but SCHULZENS Brauerei & Hotel impressed us, as did the whole city of Tangermünde. I would definitely like to come back one day. Thank You! Danke schön!

We didn't have enough time to explore the beautiful city of Tangermünde and see all the attractions that the hotel has to offer. It is worth coming for longer, there are many beautiful historical places and the hotel offers many options for entertainment.

Meals were very generous and delicious

At first check-in staff seemed a bit short tempered with us at first, but learnt we only spoke English and then became more amiable.

We stayed in the guesthouse down the street and it was fine. The location of the main hotel is great.

The Wi-Fi was unreliable.

Location was wonderful. We had a nice walk around the town in the cold! Breakfast was okay and whole atmosphere was great

We made arrangements for a late arrival. The members of the staff were super accommodating and friendly.

The location There is a restaurant (German style).

Old fashioned. Needs some refreshment. Breakfast quality below average. Fee for car park (which is just a dusty courtyard) Upon departure the IT system was down, I had to come back in the afternoon to pay and get my invoice. Information in German only. But staff tries to make some effort.

Two double beds in one semi attached rooms

Road construction right in front of our windows in ground floor at the time of our stay. Also the busy on the Otherwise side is a minor disadvantage. Otherwise it would be ok.
