I love a continental breakfast, especially in Germany. The Wunners Wat has a comprehensive breakfast that is set up with ample space to work quietly over a bite and stations are distributed around an open island, multiple coffee machines on a sideboard, and eggs and juices in the adjacent bar area. The hotel is in a small town but I found the locals at a nearby pizza place and a pub around the corner to be very friendly and accommodating. With a client about 15 minutes away by car, I opt for this inn when I can over going to the larger city of Bielefeld because of the slower pace, accessibility, and quiet atmosphere.

For budgetary reasons, I stayed in an efficiency room. I should have read the fine print and bit the bullet on a larger room. The room featured a twin size bed with decorative framing that supports the roof overhead (like a barn). This was very impactful on space. The shower is great, but I've had larger rooms in the hotel before and I'm definitely going back, but getting the bigger space. I was there for four (4) nights, so I should have given that more thought. I had no desk in this area, so essentially had to sit on my bed and use the chair as a defacto desk.

The hotel is absolutely superb. The room was spotless, very comfortable and adequate size. The facilities are excellent as well, with a gorgeous SPA where you can relax after a day's work. Good restaurant and bar. The breakfast was buffet style with loads of options. The food was very fresh and tasty. The prices are on the high end, but value for money is very good

Clean hotel, comfortable.

Some people we’re smoking in front of the hotel at 06:30 am and they woke me up unfortunately. The had business meetings here, and we’re with many. Please be aware that people would like to sleep until 08:00 am.

Exceptional Hotel, very comfortable, very nice room with excellent shower. The restaurant provided a good range of very well prepared meals. Breakfast included a warm options

Overall, nothing to dislike

Mix of exceptional modern design and antique and very traditional pieces, the rooms were stylish and yet very cosy and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff, free parking just in front of the hotel. Stunning bar and restaurant, delicious breakfast, highly recommended stop and stay while travelling in the area

The offer was limited, but really good! Loved the pancakes and the sandwiches, fresh deli, great coffee

If I need to say something, the front door of the room didn't close fully. So when an other guest opened/closed their door, ours would rattle a bit.

location, rooms, staff, food, drinks. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Will definitely be going back

Only had one small duvet on the double bed, sharing with my mate and requested single beds 🤪. Didn’t bother us or the shower which was all glass and on display from the bedroom 🤣.

All was very clean. Nice spa facilities. Electric charge possibility. Very friendly staff.

Soap in the shower was empty. No fridge in the room. Bar was closed for guests because of a party taking place.

The hotel is beautiful and our room is spacious and comfortable.

The AC turns itself off every couple of hours and we have to go turn it back on.

Wonderful staff and service. Beautiful rooms and the building.
