Well run family business with a very good service and attention to detail. Comfortable room with balcony, surrounded by woodland. Very comfortable beds and quality bedding. Very nice hilly area nearby.

[Not connected with this establishment:] Avoid Dubrovnik restaurant in the nearby town: we have waited 1h20min for our dinner, served eventually without a single apology(!) - an all time record in our long travelling history :)

My car broke down in the hotel's car park.I am enormously grateful to the hotel staff for recommending a local garage to tow the vehicle away to do the necessary repairs,and for liaising with them on the progress of the work.This was particularly helpful because of my limited German.What could have been a nightmare was a problem that was easily solved.

Such a lovely place to stay, the owners are friendly and caring, ensuring you have everything you need during your stay.

Though the hotel is situated in a lovely spot, we found it a little out the way to where we wanted to be...driving wouldn't of been such a problem to get where we wanted to go had it not been such a long drive from Calais to Germany....saying that...it is a beautiful area...

The history of the place was amazing. The room was very nice. We arrived late but owner made us a pizza due to nothing nearby.

You need to eat before you arrive as food is not available and nearest place far away.

Very nice location, very kind people. I stayed only one night but i enjoyed that peaceful place. Its very clean and the bed was very comfortable. After driving 12 hours my body fully rested 👍🏻 A bit old fashioned but in a good way.

Great location especially for people travelling with a dog. Green outdoor space for a longer walk. Spacious room with a comfy bed. Personal greeting by the host.

There could be some vegan options for breakfast.

Restaurant only served pizza and nothing else, breakfast nothing special but a shirt drive into vlotho we found a fabulous traditional German restaurant Alt Heidelberg would highly recommend eating here.

Good location in very pleasant surrounding countryside, within easy reach of the Autobahn . Good breakfast, friendly staff and an interesting history to the building. They also serve some excellent local beer.

Great location for dog walking. Beautiful rustic decorations in main areas of the hotel. Quiet room and great breakfast.

Restaurant not open for evening meals, but pizza was on offer, which was great.

Very nice, comfortable and home-like hotel. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and extremely comfy-there was everything. Extremely good mattress. Parking lot close to entrance.
