Full service and what I expect. Felt like a 5 star. Well appointed, lovely decor, excellent resuraunt. Family suite was perfect. Staff, with one exception at spa reception, was superb. Spa was wonderful. Within walking distance of everything. Just lovely. Parking was also great.

There was nothing negative. I would reccomend making it more conveniant to book spa amenities and services online of through front desk staff. We were there 3 days & tried several times to book masaages without a response from spa staff other than that she would get back to us which she did not. It was ok, we had a lovely stay regardless but someone else.might get upset.

The building looks very impressive from the outside and I was not disappointed by the inside either. I had a very spacious room on the third floor, with a little sitting area and a sizeable bathroom. The room was well-appointed and I particularly appreciated the thick curtains, keeping out the light. With curtains open, I had a great view of the inner harbour and the North Sea in the distance. The breakfast was good, the people were friendly and my bed was very comfortable.

Two minor criticisms: there was a bit of cobweb or dust stuck to the ceiling of the room and, especially in such a palatial room, it would have been nice to have a bath in addition to a shower.

We had a superior double room on 6th floor with an amazing view over the port. The staff was so professional, kind and competent, especially those at the breakfast service. While variety for breakfast was not huge, everything was delicious and never in short supply. The room was not too big, but just enough for a couple's short stay, with a safe, bathrobes and free mini bar (with an extra bottle of water in the room). Bathroom with shower so neat! I'd love to visit again the city and stay in this hotel. Make sure you have a look at the weather before you go. It seems there is very often (really strong!) wind and rain.

If I would have to note a drawback that would be the TV channels. If you don't speak German, your options are BBC World News and Bloomberg. Though few channels offered the possibility to change language, it was not working properly (suggesting: German or German, German or French which actually was still in German language).

1. The hotel is situated on the waterfront. 2. The view is spectacular. 3. The food selections including vegetarian was splendid. 4. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. 5. Clearly one of the best hotels I have stayed in recent times.

The coffee machine is something I do not like or use. Traditional coffee sachet with creme or milk is always a better option

Very nice and comfortable hotel, at a great location. The views were excellent, the room was spacious, good work area and a great shower in the bathroom. The dinner and breakfast offered great service and great selection to chose from.

We loved the breakfast. The staff were very agreeable and helpful when they dared to be. We also love the location, with fantastic views over the town, harbour and sea.

The rather bossy managers, especially over the breakfast staff. It may be a cultural thing but to us Dutchies, being strict with your staff comes across as bossy, unkind and unwelcoming.

Excellent location, spacy room, and very good spa. Great views during breakfast and very friendly staff. We could use the spa the day of checking in before 15:00 and the entire day after we checked out!

Wi-FI in specific areas of the room was not stable

View from room on 7th. floor was great. Hotel was very clean and everything worked well.

That's not hotels fault, but my locked bike was stolen in the front of the main entrance. Take your bike in the hotel. There are professional thiefs even there. The lock was cutted with bolt cutter.

It is always a pleasure to stay at this elegant hotel. Exceptional service. Our favourite place to stay when in Wilhelmshaven.
