Omg this hotel is absolutely amazing! The grounds are so neat, there’s food everywhere from snacks to buffet dinner to superb a la carte menu at the bar. The breakfast buffet was super with the kindest and most attentive staff ever! You can tell that they were all trained professionally hats off to the management of Movenpick. The room where I stayed was decent and was spotless clean. The bathroom had the right size and the water pressure was perfect. Their soap and shampoo smell wonderful too! They have live band at the bar every Fridays and trust me they play the nicest music I’ve heard in a while such talented guys! I listened to them for hours while trying out the various cocktails at the bar. Now the pool area of Movenpick is a true paradise with probably the biggest pool I’ve seen in Ghana. I spent most of the days by the poolside and enjoyed the sun. The lifeguards were all very nice too and there’s a poolside restaurant if you want anything to eat or drink. I would definitely stay here again! :)

Hmm for a hotel this great I expected the pool area to be open until 9-10pm. It would also be nice if they could put light in the pool for people who fancy a romantic evening swim under a starry night.

From the Porters to the Dining Staff (especially Betty who works during Breakfast) to the Concierge, the incredible staff at the Mövenpick are second to none! The gym and pool are clean and well managed. The grounds are immaculately manicured. Interior decorations are beautifully arranged and well-maintained Comfortable beds Climate control Refridgerator in the room is always a plus Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Mövenpick and will consider returning later this year when we are in Accra.

The only minus to this experience was there was mold in the bathroom (not entirely unexpected, given the absence of a window in the bathroom, but this problem is easily tacked with disinfecting bleach and a good fan).

Great location. There was a good selection from the buffet style breakfast. The omelet that Joshua made was absolutely delicious. Our deluxe room my husband and I stayed in was perfect for us. Every staff member we interacted with were very professional, welcoming and always attentive. We arranged for a pick up service from the airport and drop off also, and they even arranged for a car from the hotel to an excursion that we had per-booked. I would like to thank all the staff at the Movenpick especially, Henry, Samuel,Robert,Levis, George, Michael, Vincent, Marica, Ruth and Joshua. I know I haven't mention all, but thank you and we will be returning again.

I didn't like that there were not even non pork options at breakfast, even though chicken sausages were available, they would quickly run out. I feel that there should be some local dishes available in the restaurant. Also, the bar in the hotel allowed smoking which I was not impressed about.

The staff are incredibly courteous and kind and go above and beyond to help you. The hotel itself is spotless. The facilities are ideal - from the restaurant, bar, pool and reception area. Great that you can book transport from the desk.

It would have been great to open the windows in the room to let some fresh air in. Sometimes the service at the pool was a little slow.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel. I felt at home from the very first moment. The hotel is centrally located in the business district of Accra. The staff are super friendly and the lobby is very inviting. The rooms are reasonably sized, have a view, a comfortable bed with lots of pillows and a bathroom with a rain shower. I particularly liked the sumptuous breakfast, which was included in the price. The hotel has a large pool with a park-like garden, a pool bar and changing facilities. That was an extra that I really enjoyed. The hotel offers a free airport transfer service with a super friendly driver team. If travelling to Accra again, I would definitely choose the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel again.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. My room, the amenities and hotel facilities were great and the added access to the executive lounge was amazing. I had challenges with the aircon in my room and I appreciated the attention and assistance of the staff to help resolve my challenges. I absolutely enjoyed the Ghanaian food and had a great time, pity it was too short. Thank you for a lovely and comfortable stay!

Staff were nice and friendly

I was treated bad when it was time for us to take pictures. I mentioned to the staff at checkin that I was getting married and would be getting dressed there so would take some pictures at the premises with my team to which they agreed. My team was however harrassed by the security when it was time and we were stopped. They later asked that we pay before we will be allowed. What is the point of booking to spend a night and yet can't take pictures. We were meant to extend our stay but after that treatment it's a no for us.

Everything especially the ambience. The breakfast, dinner and the bigger services are EXCEPTIONAL! The staff quite friendly, the rooms quite clean. The pool is massive, I had the best massage I have ever had in my life, I used the facilities including the sauna everyday. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and watched a staged play at the national theatre opposite it. 5 stars

Not so many restaurants around the property.

My daughter hopped out of the taxi and proceeded to vomit her way towards the hotel. Deborah, the General manager, was coming out of the hotel at the same time and was super helpful, getting water and towels for my daughter and organising an early check in so my daughter could rest. The rest of the stay was also great, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good and the facilities lovely. We will definitely be returning for another stay (Hopefully without the vomiting!)

I am glad the hotel met my expectations. I have heard experiences where hotels are rated high but they turn out really bad. An easy 8.5 rating for me.

Nothing really. It was all good. Perhaps because I spent more time inside of the room than walking about. It was good. Really nice art works around too, I must mention.
