The property is quite large and is located a few minutes from the beach, it is located in the north of the island, but it can be reached by the light bus from Corfu (we used the green bus). The bus runs back and forth several times a day, and the trip takes about 1 hour 30 minutes from Corfu City (airport). There is a supermarket nearby and a place to rent scooters (it was useful to visit the whole northern part of the island) but also cars. The place is beautiful, the garden where breakfast is taken every day is wonderful. The pool is big and is very pleasantly lit in the evening. All the magic happens thanks to the hosts, a nice elderly couple who put their heart into what they do. The old man made us smile every morning when he came to ask us if everything was ok and if you wanted coffee or "extra croissant". The rooms are equipped with private bathroom, refrigerator, there is internet. Every day the housekeeper cleans the room, changes the towels with clean ones and takes out the trash. We even got towels for the pool and there was a dryer in the bathroom. Almost every room has a balcony, ours had a view of the garden, we really liked it. Upon arrival we received a "welcome" bottle of wine, and the lady responds to messages quickly and helped us get to the property easily.
The rooms and bathrooms are old style, you can see that the building is older. The furniture in the room was really ok, quite new, but we were a bit disappointed by the bathroom which was very small and the bathtub even smaller. We got used to it quickly, but it was impossible not to flood a little on foot, luckily the housekeeper saved the situation during the day. Practically not all bathrooms look like in the pictures, this aspect is worth remembering so as not to be taken by surprise. In the end, we really enjoyed it and compared to the whole experience and the rest of the facilities, the location was worth every penny.

I booked two rooms at this hotel for an adult family of four. I was slightly concerned as some reviews state that the rooms are dated and need renovation. I personally found the rooms perfect and had everything we needed for our stay. The air-conditioning was very effective (and free unlike some hotels in the area). We had a large fridge which was ideal for snacks and drinks. The beds were very comfortavle and the rooms cleaned daily. The best part for us is that our rooms opened straight out onto the pool area. During our stay it seemed most guests went to the beach and didn't use the pool, so we had it pretty much to ourselves for most of the week. Breakfast was basic but more that adequate and the coffee is great. The couple who own and run the hotel speak basic English, but genuinely go out of their way to ensure that their guests are having a good time. Also the cats.... I loved that we had a few little visitors when we were sunbathing at the pool that liked to say hello in exchange for a fuss. The area: It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and similar to the main street with restaurants and bars. The beach front restaurants are a little more expensive but worth it for the sunset views whilst eating dinner. We ate out every night and had plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Some restaurants do take-away meals although we didn't use this service. We walked to the next town Roda via the beach, which takes about 40 min from the hotel, which is a little more lively if you want tribute acts or karaoke. We also took a taxi into Sidari a couple of times, once in the day and again the following evening (avoid the Indian restaurant there-rip off and not very nice). This is a lively resort with a lovely sandy beach and a 'strip' of lively bars and restaurants.
I can't think of any negatives for this hotel.

The hotel is operated by a lovely elderly couple who do everything for the guests! At the arrival we got a room what was looking at the pool and it was a bit dark and moldy, but when we asked to change it they helped us immediately. Our room had a nice balcony where we could have dinner and partly see the sunset. It created a really romantic atmosphere. The hotel itself is a bit old school but has a great pool and a beautiful garden full of trees and flowers where we could have breakfast. They cleaned the rooms every day and changed our towels, even provided an umbrella and towels for the beach. The breakfast was the same every morning and the owner was taking care of everyone to have their fresh coffee and croissants. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, supermarket and the main road where the bus stop is. Totally worth the price, if the oldish style doesn’t bother you I highly recommend to stay here! :)
As it was written before, some rooms really need renovation.

The hotel is run by a lovely couple who will ensure that you’re being taken care of without asking. Especially the old man is absolutely lovely and going out of his way despite not speaking good English. The rooms were nice however a bit outdated, the shower was a bit small. The room was clean and beds were made every day afternoon, towels were fresh. Hotel also provided beach towels and umbrella. Location was amazing 5 min walk to the beach, close to high street full of shops and not too far from restaurants at the beach. Definitely would go back. We didn’t use pool but looked clean and there were some sun beds provided.
The place was a bit outdated and definitely needs some works to be put in place to make it a bit more modern, but couldn’t complain for such a good price, and this lovely man and his smile every morning would make your date a bit better. The breakfast could have bit more options especially someone with dietary restrictions could be struggling. However food was fresh and time of the breakfast was convenient ( 7 - 10). There was some mould in our bathroom which I assume is due to climate and renovation being needed. However it was clean as much as possible and we didn’t feel disgusted to use it.

The hotel was nostalgic and quaint. We've been told that this was the first original hotel in Acharavi. So much character. Having breakfast in the courtyard under the amazing Jacaranda tree is a fantastic relaxing start to your day. Lovely and clean, a bit dated, but this adds to the beauty of the property. The owners can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Fruit provided each morning when in season picked from their own trees. The apricots are exceptional. The hotel is central to beach and the town centre. The pool area, although beside a road, was quiet and peaceful. Perfect place to enjoy a good book and a cold beer. Will definitely return.

Great value for money. Well worth what we paid. Fabulous location, near to the beach, shops, restaurants and other facilities. Quiet location. Nice courtyard where we had breakfast. The rooms were dated but comfortable and clean with air conditioning, a fridge and plenty of space. It was great having a room with a good sized pool immediately outside our door. This was very nice and hardly seemed to be used when we were there. Breakfast- Croissants, jam, bread, feta , hard boiled eggs and tomatoes were ok and well worth the cost.
Coffee and orange juice for breakfast. Not great. The very small bath/shower facilities. I got used to the bath/shower. I used the handrail to get in and out. It wasn’t a walk-in shower but also too small to function as bath but very deep, making it awkward to get in and out of. I got the knack but it wasn’t easy. I am 61years old. The bathroom wouldn’t be suitable for someone with a disability or mobility issues. I was ok with it. The shower itself had good pressure and temperature.

We felt like coming to grandparents summer cottage for the holidays. The owner Marie was very welcoming , quick and efficient check in, she stayed up late in the night to welcome us. The room was decent, with two comfy beds and old furniture but fridge was nice and big which comes in handy during heatwave. Bathroom is also rather old but also clean. We were welcomed with a bottle of excellent wine which we enjoyed in a veranda. Breakfast is simple with choice of tea or coffee at the end. Very nice area at the garden for breakfast. Rather close to a beach.Excellent value for money.
Noisy room vith balcony overlooking the street.

Acharavi has all the amenities of a beach town, without feeling overtly touristy. The hotel feels a bit dated--but everything was functional and very clean. The hotel was a short walk 5-10 minutes to beach and just around the corner from a real supermarket. Lovely sitting area with with tables in a garden for the very satisfying breakfast. Excellent coffee. Proprietors are very gracious.
No screens on windows--I prefer open windows to AC--but no mosquitoes in mid June when I visited so it was not a problem. There was no wall attachment for the shower head.

Overall very good value for money considering the great position (5 Min walking distance to the beach) and the breakfast included (although it's the same everyday, there is a lot of choice and plenty to eat). The owners are a very sweet local couple, they also leave hosts a bottle of wine as a welcome gift.
Although we found our room clean and towels have been changed everyday, the bathroom especially was super old and tiny and overall the hotel has plenty of room for improvement..

Hotel own so nice couple! Hotel is older, but it is so Cosy and it has awesome atmosphere! We were surprised, for that money. Hotel offers breakfast too, it is basic but for us it was enough (croissants, bread, eggs, fruits and coffee)! We needed to leave hotel early in the morning (before breakfast) and it was not problem to get breakfast too. I loved that we got „welcoming hotel of Wine”, which was awesome and we could drink it on our balcony. It was clear that the owners take care of the hotel with love. We definitely recommend!
