Friendliest staff we have ever experienced!! They care so much about how well your stay is!! Front desk is ever so helpful… Giorgios Ioanna and the other staff all so welcoming and ready to assist you with anything needed!! We had a small issue with a leak in the room but it was quickly resolved in a professional manner!! Breakfast staff were exceptionally attentive … chef accommodated but cooking special vegan options for my husband each day too!! Would go back tomorrow!!

The sea view on the ground floor was not a whole sea view as advertised. Rooms could be cleaned a little more thoroughly as we could feel grit and sand… but this was resolved once raised.

We had a wonderful stay at Micra Anglia, and can highly recommend this hotel for anyone who looks for a calm and beautiful hotel with excellent service and high quality. We were there for one week, but would have loved to stay longer. The hotel is beautiful, when it comes to the building and the rooms, and it was beautifully decorated with flowers and small details that show that the staff cares about giving the guests a good experience. The staff (all of them) is friendly, polite and professional. We loved our room, it was spacious, had nice furniture, a good coffee machine and it had in general good comfort. One of the highlights of the hotel is the breakfast, which we enjoyed every day. The food was home made with good variety, and much of the food was local. Every morning we got served freshly made orange juice, and good coffee and water by the table. The breakfast room was, as the rest of the hotel, also very nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much, and can warmly recommend it.

Excellent experience: the boutique hotel is elegant and cozy, the location very convenient, and the staff very helpful and friendly, and ready to go the extra mile. One day we forgot our snorkel and swim flippers in the room and went to a beach about 15’ away from the hotel. We called the reception and asked if they could take them from our room and bring them to the beach, since the owners also have a lounge bar near that beach. They did it! They brought them with a smile :) Another plus point is that the hotel provides towels both for the (small) swimming pool of the hotel but also for any beach you want to explore on the island. Finally, one of us had a massage and their small spa, which was very good.

It was all nice

Our stay was incredibly convenient, largely thanks to the hotel's excellent location. Having our car made accessing the hotel and exploring the island incredibly straightforward. We were also consistently impressed by the top-notch food offered. From the plentiful breakfast options to the truly tasty lunch and dinner selections. If you have the time, get a massage from Georgia, she was incredible!

While our room was generally great, the shower could definitely use some attention. We found the water sprayed quite a bit, and the smaller shower attachment wasn't usable due to a broken or blocked part.

The architecture of the buildings, a fusion of classical Italian / British styles with an adequate decoration on the common areas and in the rooms. Good facilities at the restaurant and a small but useful swimming pool, with a relaxing area around. Excellent location in a hilly zone overlooking the sea, the beaches and the mountains around, at walking distance to the the main (pedestrian) street of Chora, with some excellent restaurants, bars and many shops. Finally, a very kind and well trained staff, fully available to provide all the assistance and recommendations you may need.

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendliest staff I’ve encountered in my travels. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make me feel at home — always ready with a smile, helpful suggestions, and genuine hospitality that made my stay incredibly special. The hotel itself is spotless. Every corner, from the lobby to my room, was impeccably clean and clearly maintained with great attention to detail. Mornings quickly became a highlight thanks to the generous breakfast spread. In addition to the usual selections, I was delighted to find a variety of fresh, homemade local pastries and traditional pies of the island — a delicious and authentic touch that added real charm to the experience. The location couldn’t be better — perfectly situated for exploring the island’s many wonders. Whether venturing to the beach, visiting nearby villages, or simply enjoying a walk through the scenic surroundings, everything was close at hand. What truly made this stay stand out was the building itself. A beautifully preserved neoclassical structure built in the traditional architecture of Andros, it offered a unique blend of elegance and heritage. The décor was tasteful and respectful of the island’s history, creating a serene and culturally rich atmosphere. This hotel is a true gem. I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to experience the authentic beauty and warmth of Andros!

The reception staff upon arrival Mr George and Ms Ioanna were exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A big credit to the hotel and a main reason to go back again and remember the hotel with nice memories. 👍👍😁😁

At breakfast for a five Star boutique style hotel, We were expecting more choice of pastries, better and more choice of cerials and more choice of milk such as oat milk etc and more choice of local cheese like hard cheese that Greece is famous for.

Our experience in Micra Anglia can be summarised in one word: excellent! The property is beautiful and very well maintained, in the city centre of Chora. The staff make all the difference!! Mr. Giorgos, Ioanna and Maria at the reception made our stay exceptional, always ready to assist! They deserve a raise and a promotion! Same goes for the housekeeping and F&B team! Cleanliness is top notch and the cocktails at the bar were exceptional! Will definitely stay again when visiting Andros!

From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything at Micra Anglia Boutique Hotel & Spa was simply dreamy. The hospitality was warm and genuine, making us feel right at home. The hotel’s decoration was elegant, the facilities were impeccably clean, and every space was perfectly maintained. The breakfast was rich, with high-quality options that truly impressed us. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, making our stay even more memorable.

There was absolutely nothing negative to mention — everything exceeded our expectations.

The hotel staff, hotel location, breakfast and quality of service were amazing. The hotel is beautifully finished and the attention to detail follows through everything.

The superior deluxe room was neither superior nor deluxe. It was basic, tiny and a little damp and not even in the main hotel building which took away from the experience. The junior suite was more what we would expect from a deluxe room. Not a suite. That was disappointing but didn’t spoil our stay.
