Love the location - close to the bus stop (to/from the airport), close to the tram. We LOVE Glyfada, always stay there, however, if you want something closer to the city, you may want to look elsewhere as it takes about 40-45 mins to get to the city/port via public transport. The area is beautiful and safe, the view of the water from the hotel is lovely. There is a walking/jogging path by the water - excellent for morning walks. There are plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants; our favorite was the Apollonion Cafe. The hotel's RESTAURANT IS SUPERB. We had dinner there a few times and the food was fresh and tasty. The staff is great, friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to go back - we will most definitely stay at the Palmyra Beach Hotel.

All customer service desk personnel. Breakfast was very good. Would like to single out the people who were serving the breakfast such as Kostoula and Johan. Thank you for your Koulouri Thessaloniki's Navro given to us as well as a breakfast box when we were leaving early morning!!

Nothing to complain about

Clean, friendly hotel in great location! I would give this hotel more than a 10 If I could We had a superior double room with sea view on the 2nd floor. Room was large with a small fridge. Decor modern and clean throughout. Shower with the options of rain shower, body jets or hand held was amazing. Plenty of storage for clothes. The balcony was large and although it’s near the main road, wasn’t an issue. Added bonus of a small clothes air dryer. Front desk and bar staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of variety with a “ eggs cooked to choice” option. The bar staff…wow! Friendly and entertaining. Their friendly rivalry in cocktail making is a win for us customers….everyone needs to try a few of the cocktails! The pool and bar decor and vibe is lovely and relaxing. Upon checkout, we discovered scales to weigh out luggage taking the guesswork out of it prior to travelling to the airport. We had a fantastic stay, will be back and recommend this hotel to everyone

This was our 3rd year/4th time staying at Palmyra Beach Hotel, and once again, everything was absolutely fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the location is perfect, and the food is consistently delicious. Every detail is taken care of, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The location is one of the hotel's biggest highlights- it's perfectly close to the beach, shops, and local attractions, yet still peaceful and quiet. whether it's your first visit or return trip, you won't be disappointed! Special thanks to all the reception team :)...... we truly feel at home here and can't recommend it enough. Already looking forward to next year!

Nothing at all

I had a great stay at this hotel, mainly due to its fantastic location — just a few steps from the beach and a short 5-minute walk to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, which made it very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, especially the receptionist Rena, who was always helpful and kind.

There was no assistance with luggage upon arrival, which was inconvenient. The corridors were extremely hot due to the lack of air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to walk through. Additionally, there was only one elevator.

Almost everyone was beyond friendly! The food was excellent. I’ve never had such a wonderful breakfast selection. The maid cleaned the room as soon as the sign went on the door. Pool attendant was nice. We had a very sweet girl upon check in who tried very hard to assist my daughter when we thought that I may have misplaced my phone. Many smiling people who were happy to help us!

Only 1 staff member yelled at me that it was not a smoking facility twice and pointed to the sign when I was trying to use my inhaler. I told her that it was an inhaler twice but she never once apologized. She then got testy over calling a cab for us; stating.. you should have contacted them earlier.

Spent a week here with my wife.The hotel was spotless and staff were really nice. Lovely bar / restaurant and fantastic pool backing on to it. Pool service excellent .breakfast was OK. I only had 3 times. The room was top notch . Best shower I have ever had, think it's a Japanese shower.

1.The noise of the traffic. There is a 6 lane dual duel carriageway running right by the hotel. We were lucky we got room furthest away from it but was still very noisy.. the traffic was relentless. We were coming back from bar around 2am. Was still at it. Had to keep patio door.shut. Can just imagine what it's like facing the road. We were in room 103. 2. In the foyer where steps meet ramp, there should be a handrail . Floor and steps same colour as ramp. Worn out red strip to tell difference. Not adequate. Hard to makeout. Someone with impaired vision could have nasty accident. Wouldn't cost much to install

The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable, well-designed and provided good facilities: kettle, tea bags, sugar, long life milk, cups etc, coffee machine, plenty of power points including by the bed with USB points, a desk area, armchair, nice lighting, good bathroom with plenty of towels, toiletries and hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of spare pillows and a spare duvet. The aircon was effective and quiet. We had a nice balcony with a view looking up the road to the sea. Room cleaning was excellent and unobtrusive. The room, bathroom and all public areas were very clean. The hotel is modern and comfortable. The lobby area was welcoming and comfortable, the pool side bar and restaurant were great, with a decent menu, the food was well prepared and served. The breakfast was varied and plentiful.

The wifi did not reach the room (we were on the corner on the third floor). The area is being developed, so although there is a nice beach down the road there is only one bar/restaurant on it within a short walk, and the staff there were rude. There was noise (only audible from the balcony, the room was quiet) from building works along the coast road and the busy road behind.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for the Sea Turtle Rescue Center which was important for us. Access to public transport was very convenient for Athens and the region. The Room was comfortable though basic. Daily water bottles were a nice touch.

Road noise was very high. Bathroom did not feel very clean on arrival but improved during our stay. The bathrooms could do with renovation (drainage and ventilation) as it flooded every time we had a shower and always smelled musty.

Everything! We were at this hotel in Glyfada for only one night before our flight to London the following day, but we were lucky enough to be given a free up-grade to a suite which was lovely. The breakfast was well organised with plenty of cold and hot items to choose from plus a lot of sweet things such as pastries and cakes etc. Fresh coffee and also a machine with various types of coffee and fresh orange juice were available. The pool was a good size if you wanted to take a swim in the heat of the day and there were sun-beds in and out of the shade. The bar area is stylish and comfortable and the Cretan barman is a credit to this hotel! He was friendly and helpful with a good sense of humour. We found the prices of drinks to be quite reasonable considering the location. Would recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Glyfada!
