We had the best time at Art Hotel Debono - Vassilis (apologies, I'm unsure of the spelling) and the whole team were amazing, they really went the extra mile to make our stay so special. They were honestly so thoughtful - we were sitting by the pool when it started raining one afternoon and Vassilis offered to fetch umbrellas for everybody which was very kind! We were lucky to stay in the Jacuzzi room, which was lovely with a great view. We also had the breakfast option, which was a buffet with different options each morning - far better than your average buffet, with something for everybody. Can't recommend enough!!

Absolutely loved our 10 night stay at this hotel. We were in a bungalow which I highly recommend - very quiet, lovely terrace with garden views and it was just so clean. Each night we were overwhelmed by the choice and quality of the food. The meat and salad options were all delicious. Some nights there was beautifully barbecued meat and vegetables, such a treat. Breakfast was lovely too although my favourite days were when it was the savoury pies rather than sweet! We had lunch once and it was tasty and fresh - and big enough to share. The pool area was relaxing with lots of beds and the hotel provided towels were good quality. It’s shallow but the water jets are great. There is a small gym. The location gives you so many options. The hotel’s bar and twice-weekly poolside entertainment was good. Alcohol prices fair. Plus a 10 minute walk to Gouvia with lots of bars / buzz. Or easy access via bus to Corfu Town, the bus stop is 10 minutes walk (use the Spiti Prifti stop). Diellas supermarket is just down the road to stock up on cheap water, local snacks & balcony beers. Every member of staff we interacted with was kind, friendly and helpful.

Its fantastic location does mean some road noise by the pool. I don’t think some guests should be trusted with glass by the pool!

Our suite in the garden was peaceful and spacious, with plenty of outdoor space for relaxing - while having the main hotel facilities close at hand. We also stayed a few nights in a main hotel room, with a small balcony – a cheaper option but the suites make for a more special stay. Both rooms had very comfortable, big beds. The pool, pool bar cafe and tennis court are all well managed and added to the enjoyment of our stay. The choice at breakfast is fantastic, while the hotel bar makes a great cocktail. The evening buffet was generous and good value, but international in style so not authentic. You’ll eat better Greek food in town but it’s convenient when you don’t want to head out for the evening. The staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming – so much more so than other notable big hotels on the island - which really enhanced our stay. Great service, but in an easy-going, unstuffy way.

The hotel itself is excellent. It is set away from the main town, about a 10 minute walk. We were there for 3 nights and had a villa in the garden. The room was big, really clean, very comfortable, and it had a large balcony with lovely patio furniture. All the staff were so friendly and always willing to help. The pool area was beautiful and nicely laid out, with lots of sheltered areas from the 38° sun. There is a poolside cafe and bar. They also have a separate restaurant, which was buffet style, we ate there the 1st night as they were having a BBQ. The food was lovely and plenty of it. Breakfast was great, buffet style and, again, plenty of it. We loved staying there. Nearby there are a few supermarkets.

We weren't keen on the town itself. But maybe that's just us.

The Art Hotel Debono is an exceptionally well run hotel. The management and staff obviously take tremendous pride in keeping the facilities to a high standard. We had two bungalows for our family group and these were kept beautifully clean and were very comfortable, the service was efficient and non intrusive. The hotel has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and the staff are well trained and attentive. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection of food and drink, the honey comb and artisan bread were a nice touch. We would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in Corfu if you have the use of a car.

Our bungalows were in the top area of the grounds, which was up quite a slope, so not great for the older/infirm members of our group. Everything else about the hotel was just what we needed.

Everything! Its proximity to Marina Gouvia was convenient. The room was spacious and clean, and the property was simply beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We look forward to coming back.

Our stay at the hotel was outstanding in every aspect—service, facilities, room, and pool. I want to extend special thanks to Karmela at reception, who went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. We were thrilled with the room upgrade to one featuring a jacuzzi. The room was brand new, with a balcony overlooking a beautiful field of olive trees. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, especially due to the stuff’s professionalism, warmth, and kindness. The room felt like an oasis. While some pictures may show the hotel’s older sections, the other half is entirely renovated and modern.

Not close to a decent beach, aircon was weak for a large room like that

We could not fault this hotel at all. Everything exceeded our expectations. Staff and food were excellent. Rooms clean , well equipped and serviced daily. We are not beach lovers so hired a car and travelled everyday. The hotel is not far from the beach or bus stops but you do have to cross a busy road and at night the access road is very badly lit.

The staff were so friendly and happy to help us with everywhere. Greta selection of food for breakfast with nice selection of different pastries. The hotel grounds are gorgeous not to mention the pool AND tennis court! The room was immaculate everyday, the view was amazing from room 321 and we will DEFINITELY be coming back soon. Thanks to all the hotel staff for making this such a wonderful trip. This is the best hotel in Corfu. Book! :)

Karmela and her team were super customer oriented and were always looking out for us during our stay. They not only helped to book a taxi transfer from the airport but they even upgraded us to a junior suite! Something which we highly appreciated. The rooms were lovely and the hotel is set in a very tranquil garden, 10min walk from Gouvia town, and the beach. The pool and the pool bar were very much appreciated for its serene atmosphere. Breakfast was superb which several options to choose from. Coffee could be better!

I think our headboard or the space in between the mattresses smelled a bit like mould. But that is the only complaint.
