Ipóso di Mare in Corfu is a fantastic combination of a cozy hotel and a top-notch restaurant. The location is stunning, right by the sea, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was very friendly

Excellent friendly staff, very clean, and linen and towels changed daily. Good location to travel by public bus (cheaply) to other of the islands popular locations including Corfu town - Fantastic location for amazing sunrises. Great views across the bay to Corfu town and Albania Good selection of food at the buffet for both breakfast and dinner.

Rooms would benefit from a decor upgrade - beds very basic - but saying that still had fabulous nights of sleep. The shower hose and heads definitely need an upgrade. The beach is a narrow pebble beach - great for early September but not sure what it would be like in high season - Ipsos was described on arrival as a club strip which was a concern, but we were not troubled, in-fact the nights were very low key, but perhaps because of the time of year we travelled. This may be an issue high season.

The apartment is located right in front of the beach, in a lively and vibrant area full of bars and night spots — ideal if you enjoy an energetic atmosphere in the evenings. Although we didn't have time to use the pool, everything else was perfect. Daily cleaning was provided, and we even received complimentary slippers. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful. For the price, the package was amazing: breakfast and dinner were included and both were tasty and generous. On our arrival night (after 9 PM), they kindly offered to prepare a special dinner just for us — a delicious pizza, which we really appreciated. Given the price and the location, 1 would absolutely recommend this place!

it would have been nice to have a terrace with a view — if available, I recommend a room that includes it. Dinner is served only until 9 PM, and breakfast doesn't start before 8 AM, which might be limiting if you have early excursions planned. Drinks are not included with dinner, and neither are the beach umbrella and sunbeds. However, if you use them later in the afternoon, they often let you enjoy them for free as a kind gesture.

The hotel was in a prime location, especially for going to the beach as it was just over the road. There’s also restaurants, shops and bars down the entire street, as well as a bus stop just a minutes walk from the hotel. Very nice personell, good food in the restaurant and clean room.

The shower could do with doors and not just a hanger so that the water don’t go all over the floor- at least get a scooper so we could scoop it away. Also would be great with something to hang towels and clothes on, as well as a shelf or something for shampoos etc. Otherwise it was good

The staff were so sweet and very helpful especially Angelika! They upgraded our room to sea view and allowed us to check in early!!! They planned a day boat trip for us to Paxos, the trip itself was abit tiresome but the organization was good thanks to the receptionist. Pick up from hotel. They also suggested many other activities and sites to do for the entire trip printed and handed to us! Very helpful The beach is right infront of you, the water is very clear and pretty, Ipsos is nice and calm and the bus connection to the Old city is good (5€ to go and come back and the ride is 20-30mins) The shops and restaurants nearby are limited but good.

The place could use some renovation, but for the price it's fair. The food was okay but could be better.

Room was so clean and beds so comfortable. Staff super friendly. We had breakfast and dinner buffet included. The food at the buffet was top class. Super fresh and lots of flavour . The night staff a man not sure of his name was brilliant. Had an issue with door to balcony and he was just super helpful and easy to deal with.

Very hard to pick what we didn't like. Everything was super.

I only stayed for one night and picked this property due to it's price and location. I think it may have been the only place available in Ipsos at that time (Early January). The room was very basic, but it was also very cheap. It was really clean and the bed was very comfortable (The only reason I was there was to get a nights sleep, so this helped)

There was a kettle, but no cups, so I couldn't make coffee. No coffee was available on site, as the restaurant / kitchen was closed, but I did manage to walk a bit and get my fix. Other than that, it was perfect for my needs (One nights stay)

The hotel, out of season, was good value and right on the beach. The balcony gave us the chance to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. A reasonably priced supermarket 3 minutes away catered for our needs. The bus into town was twice hourly, taking half an hour. The 5-Euro Corfu Town bus day runaround ticket is worth considering

Only minor gripe: I asked booking.com for 'Corfu Town' - the address of the hotel includes this in the title; had I checked its location more carefully, I probably wouldn't have booked; that said, it turned out to be great, probably better than staying in the town itself

Great location, just cross the road, and you are on the beach. The staff was welcoming and friendly. All needed information was provided.I could leave my bag for the view hours. Tasty breakfast, good choice buffet.

I booked the room with the double bed, but got the room with 2 singles, very small beds. A very hard mattress.. Breakfast starts only at 8 am, I wish they could open earlier. There was very loud music in the breakfast hall, absolutely not needed. I wanted to have lunch in the restaurant, but I changed my mind cause of loud music, not relaxing at all.

I stayed at this hotel for just one day, and it was a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself was very nice and well-maintained. A special thanks to the receptionist, Angelica, who was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. She even arranged for me to have my room before the official check-in time, which I really appreciated. Excellent service and a pleasant stay overall—I'd definitely come back!
