This is my third stay at this hotel in four months; I stayed last week with two friends, travelled home, then returned three days later on my own; I was also here in June as a solo traveller. This hotel, owned and run by a Greek family, is perfect in so many ways. The building sits on the water’s edge, so it seems as if it has its own beach. The bar and seating area, the outside dining ‘room’, the beach beds, and the loungers on the fabulous sun decking, over the sea, provide the perfect scenario for any guest. All employees at the Dassia Beach are a joy to communicate with, and now feel like old friends. There are many restaurants nearby, but it is so easy to order food and drinks from the beach, or from the seating area under the shady pergola covered with Wysteria…one can become quite lazy. Buses run to the beautiful, Italianate Corfu Old Town, and many other areas, from 5 minutes up the lane. Travel is cheap, and the journeys are air conditioned. If Dassia Beach wasn’t closing for the winter, I would return in November but sadly…

I loved everything.

Staff is very pleasant. Hotel is small and cozy. Breakfast is buffet and offers small, but good choice of food to choose from. It has a restaurant terrace that is practically on the beach itself, so you get to have your breakfast and dinner about 10 meters from the sea.

Dinners are in a form of "menu of the day". They plan in advance what you'll have for starters, main dish and for desert. You can only choose if you'll have all or just parts of it and they always prepare their local dishes, which is nice, but might not be suitable for everyone. If I pay for the dinner, I want to have an option to choose what I will eat.

The blue sun beds on the beachfront are beyond repair and must be replaced . It’s such a great hotel just needs a bit of smartening up - shelf next to outside bar , damaged notice advertising cocktails on the beach front , piles of old umbrellas and discarded beach toys in random places . Also the half board doesn’t work -there are no options at all and as it’s not a buffet, people end up having to ask for different things from the main menu trying to guess whats allowed and what isn’t . We suggest a simple half board menu- no starter but a choice of three mains - fish meat veg and a selection of the cheaper puddings or fruit .

Property is located on beachfront, beautiful view from balcony across to the Albanian coast and Corfu lit up at night. Breakfast was really lovely, very good selection, lots of choice. Rooms cleaned daily, has a safe and small fridge and TV. You can hire beach towels at reception €1 also a kettle for your room if you wish. Bus from end of road into Corfu good service. Supermarkets and some shops at end of road. Lovely places to eat along prom, great value and lovely fish options. Paragliding and boat trips along beach. Lovely setting and very helpful friendly staff. Would love to return at less busy time of year.

We got uprated for an apartment, which was very roomy and had a good AC. The restaurant/ bar in the house is good. The hotel is on the beach so you can swim anytime. To get around on the island you need to get a regular bus for the Korfu city first. Bus stop on the main street where the supermarket is, about 500m from the hotel. The most places are connected with the capital. Dassia is very small, but you have restaurants and a couple of supermarkets.

Excellent location, everybody is very friendly and very helpful, the breakfast is a rich brunch fresh prepared for the day. The restaurant and bar are operating till midnight with very nice plates and drinks. Cleanliness in all the facilities. WiFi was excellent. I will definitely visit it again and I will suggest it to my friends.

The hotel is right on the beach with sun bed's and brollies included free of charge. Dassia beach hotel has a relaxed atmosphere with a beach bar looking over the sea towards Albania. The rooms are cleaned daily to a good standard.

This family-run hotel has the best position on the fabulous Dassia Beach; your feet are almost touching the sea as you have breakfast, or dine later. I have stayed on this beach several times, but usually at a B&B owned by a friend. Eating and drinking at the Dassia Beach has always been a joy, as it’s bar and dining areas actually sit on the beach edge. All staff, wherever you meet them, are friendly and welcoming, providing great service; one leaves knowing every one, which sees me booking another stay here after I finish writing my review. Breakfast is included here, and has plenty to suit anyone. The kitchen produces a healthy griddled vegetable platter with GREAT char marks and NOT SWIMMING OIL…as it often is. Another favourite is shrimp/prawn saganaki…I managed a double portion on my last day. Unfortunately, as a solo traveller, I was only able to book a back-facing room. However, my September booking will see TWO of us enjoy a balcony hanging over the sea; I can’t wait. So, looking forward to seeing all staff again.Beds on the beach are free, as is the superb decking that spreads out over the sea and has the safest ‘ jumping and diving-off’ ever.

Friendly helpful staff, beautiful views , clean rooms.

Plenty of choice at breakfast. We were on a bed and breakfast arrangement but ate most nights at the restaurant. The food and drinks are superb value for money. I can't say enough about the location. Right on the beach front. They have a wooden jetty that you can use for sunbathing or the beach. Room are basic, comfortable and adequate. We were on the mountain side and had a lovely view of olive trees. The staff are highly professional and helpful. I have great respect for the way they do their work and how hard they work to make everyone's stay enjoyable and comfortable. For a relaxing stay I highly recommend it.
