Friendly and professional staff, very attentive and accommodating. The pool and surrounding gardens are wonderful. For entertainment there's a billiards table, giant chess, and bar. Breakfast included a good variety of authentic Greek food, excellent coffee machine with lots of drink options. The cleaning staff were thorough and fast.

The rooms are a bit small. They accept children and babies, but don't have any portable cribs. The showers are incredibly small and horrendously uncomfortable. The mini fridge was heavily used and should be replaced. Closets and bedside table drawers are super squeeky and should be lubricanted.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. It also reflects our opinion of the hotel. The hotel is run by a hardworking and conscientious family. Everyone is very kind and takes ownership of the task of making sure that everything runs smoothly and that guests have a good time. The best thing about the hotel is the pool and the view of the sea and mountains from the poolside. The other is the garden with olive trees. I really like to read under the olive trees. This year we found that the guests coming to the hotel are very similar, regardless of the country they are from. Families, couples, small groups of friends. There are no travel agencies. That also makes the atmosphere very good. Everyone who comes here wants to relax, read, chat, play cards. It's quiet and peaceful. The sea is a short walk away. Ipsos restaurants and shops are also in the same area. We can get to the airport by public transport. You can take the number 7 bus to Corfu town, (the bus stop is 5 minutes from the hotel) and from there you can take the airport shuttle.

It had a perfect location and view. The place was clean. It had an amazing olive garden, games and pool, all surrounded by a wonderful view. The staff was polite and available. Good buffet breakfast. The room was always clean.

They have to absolutely put some mosquito nets. It was impossibile to sleep from all the bites you would get.

Very cute and chilled, ideal for relaxing. Everything clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and made a fuss of my little girl. Location was good, right near the strip and beach so ideal for accessing food and shopping. Our room was clean & air con good.

Unfortunately google map stated the entrance was 10 min walk from where we were dropped off, which was incorrect. Myself and my 4 year old struggled with 2 suitcases for 10 mins up a hill to find no hotel. After being directed by someone else we then found it. May be ideal to update google map for the correct entrance or have a sign on Main Street to direct and the only sign we found was once down the pathway off the main road as you go up the hill. Beds were too firm for my liking, but this is possibly personal preference. Prices for food/drink more than on the strip but not ridiculous, so ok if wanting to not move. Music being played as background at the pool could be a good option.

You'll be surprised by the stunning view of the swimming pool. The territory is lovely with olive trees, and the family who runs the business is very welcoming. The room is nice with a great view of the garden and the sea (only the shower cubicle was quite small). The hotel is just a 4-min walk from the beach. Although it is a bit uphill, this is an advantage, as it means there is no noise from the road, and you get the feeling of being in the mountains and far from the town.

Ipsos Beach is not the best one in Corfu. It is quite narrow and located close to a busy road. The beach is lined with cafes and restaurants, mostly offering Greek fast food options. For a nicer dining experience, you can take a bus to Corfu Old Town. It takes about 40 min and costs 2.50 euros one way, with buses running every 20 minutes.

Excellent hotel to stay in Ypsos. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is great as well as the garden. The view to the sea and Corfu town is great. The parking is spacious. Amazing breakfast that exceeded my expectations, with good variety and some greek delicacies, slightly different each day. The family that run the hotel are very kind and hard working. Really genuine and nice people who wanted to please us.

It would be nice to be able to enjoy the great view from the pool area in the evening while having a drink. Perhaps something for the owners to consider in future!

‘YES!’ we had a great experience at this excellent, family owned and operated hotel in Ipsos! ‘YES!’ just a short walk (approx. 4 mins) to the beach. ‘YES!’ hotel is very secure, fully gated and private in a cul-de-sac location slightly above and behind the main town. ‘YES!’ all staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. ‘YES!’ there was was always a good selection of hot & cold, savoury and sweet buffet breakfast choices available in the spacious and bridge dining area. ‘YES!’ our room was very clean and well appointed, with its own fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, toiletries, etc. ‘YES!’ Always plenty of hot water for shower and basin throughout the day. ‘YES!’ additional requests were acted on with speed and pleasure (we requested additional blankets and toiletries during our stay, all delivered swiftly). ‘YES!’ this is a great, central location for exploring Corfu, either with your own transportation or using the very frequent and efficient bus services, which pick up and drop off at frequent stops along the seafront and beyond. Would we return to Hotel Yannis Corfu…. ‘YES!’

Our only minor observation was the rather cosy size of the shower cubicle. Could be a bit tight for the larger bodied.

A wonderful stay – this place made me fall in love with Corfu! This location truly made me fall in love with Corfu. The entire resort is spotless and very well maintained, with so much to do that it's impossible to get bored. The pool is one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen and open until 21:00- string point i would say. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was fabulous, with a wide variety of options—even my picky son found plenty to enjoy! The facilities outside are great, and the hotel is just a short walk from the beach. There’s also excellent public transport access to Corfu Town, which made exploring the area really easy. If we ever return to Corfu, we will definitely choose Yannis Hotel for our entire stay!

It felt like a family run hotel (in the best way). It is well maintained- loved by the people who run it … and it shows. The location is excellent. Right on a bustling Ipsos beach strip of restaurants cafes and bars. Busy in the day but more so at night. Hotel Yannis is conveniently set back far enough not to hear the merry-making but easy to walk to in a couple of minutes. The elevated views from the beautifully manicured pool area are stunning. Needless to say, I would return for another stay and I would definitely recommend.

Had a great view of bay from our room. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options each day with a change up in what was offered. Good location to explore the island - we loved Barbati beach and Kamali beach - both easy drives away. Sea was crystal clear and in September the perfect temperature for swimming. Easy walking down to Ypsos strip. Plenty of choice to suit all budgets. G

Bathroom was a little snug and the shower leaked a lot! not a lot of space in there to store any personal items. Ypsos beach (which some say is lovely) is actually terrible - the worlds most skinny beach and full of rubbish.
