Very clean, well-appointed, quiet and comfortable boutique hotel within a short walk to the port. The staff were absolutely delightful - pleasant, helpful, always a smile on their face. The breakfast was plentiful and most items were locally sourced and home made. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

It was clean, with nice homemade breakfast prepared by the family who owed the hotel, smily and welcome people, we arrived late on December 24th and they have turned on our room heating so as the room will be warm

Would have liked a warmer blanket and not just a top cover sheet. Shower has no attachment to the wall. When you put it down to lather up if you’re not careful it will spray all over the bathroom.

First of all, Epavlis is located in a very quiet yet central part of Galaxidi so that, weather permitting, you can enjoy sleeping with open windows and awaken to birdsong. No traffic or party noise!! Secondly, the owners provide a delicious selection of fresh food items every morning from the buffet breakfast table. Thirdly, the hotel, rooms and courtyard are immaculately clean and well-maintained. And it is only a ten-minute walk to the main square and harbor, where most of the restaurants are located. During our stay most of the rooms were occupied. But the other guests were also quiet so that a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere prevailed day and night.

We happened to be in the room called DESMOS. There was a fold-out sofa (for a third guest or child) in the room which necessarily reduced the size of the adjoining bathroom to a minimum. Given these dimensions, the owners should install a closed shower cabin, rather than a curtain, to keep the floor from flooding after each use. For two people for a couple of days it's manageable but for a family it would be pandemonium.

Really nice, family-owned and run, small hotel. Perfectly clean with a marvelous breakfast and very nice outdoor eating area. We visited on a quiet, off-season weekend and we were the only guests! Like staying at a friends home. Easy parking and quick walk to the water front restaurant area. Patio outside room and nice sitting area inside room. Very, very well maintained property with all sorts of nice amenities.

A very small item: some shelving in the bathroom to put your things on.

The hotel is located really close to the center and the port of the village allowing you to have access every where in a few steps. It is a quiet and relaxing accomodation and the owner is helpful and kind. Definitely try the delicious breakfast offered during your stay, especially the homemade marmalade and cookies.

The bathroom, and especially the shower, in one of the suites is really uncomfortable and small.
