A charming family-run hotel with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The owner made us feel like part of the family from the start. The apartment was super well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine and stove. Everything was spotless and clearly cared for with pride. The view from the property is absolutely fantastic—perfect for relaxing mornings or sunset evenings. We especially enjoyed the nice pool, which was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, homey atmosphere with all the comforts you could ask for.

It was a beautiful villa hotel. A very well run and professional operation. My host Minas was extremely kind and helpful before and during my stay. I especially enjoyed a nice morning coffee conversation with Minas. I am from the U.S. and he has a son working in California. So we both had a lot of questions for each other concerning life in Greece and in the U.S. I love to ask locals anywhere I am about their view points on my country. Good or bad! And I also love to learn about the country I am visiting. Along with my coffee Minas brought me some fruits and sweets. Just outstanding. Anna in reception is very sweet. She gave me a fruit I’d never tried. Can’t begin to tell you what it was but it was tasty!!! Cozy bed. Very clean room and bathroom. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice ocean sound at night and morning. Loved it!!! Thanks Minas and Anna!!!

Lots of stairs. I recommend you scooter or drive down to the beach.

The view is outstanding. I could not have wished for any more. Extremely clean, good facilities, loved the bathroom, especially the shower with lashings of hot water. Perfect. Bed was fine, mattress Ok and at night perfectly quiet ( and mega dark ). All round a superb overnight stop to allow the exploration of Olympia & Diafani on the Quad.

In no way does this distract from the quality of the property but a more comfortable mattress might be an idea but I understand it is such a personal item to get right for all the people that stay. For the single night that I was here it did OK.

We had a privilege to stay in a villa with private pool, it was an exceptional experience! The indoor space is well equipped with everything one needs for a stay, clean, air conditioned, the bed was comfortable. But the outdoor space is what really makes a difference! Perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the incredible view, it was hard to leave! The family that runs the hotel is very friendly and accomodating.

Alkioni Hotel is perfectly located, overlooking Finiki Bay with breathtaking views. It’s just steps away from the bay and all the restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, lovingly home-cooked by the wonderful host, who also gave us recommendations about beaches.

Our fridge had an issue at first, but the owners were incredibly quick and helpful in replacing it.

Alkioni Hotel is a grate place overlooking the Finiki bay. Upon arrival we were upgraded to an apartment with sea view. We had a very pleasant stay there. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis. The owners were very helpful, assisting us on several occasions. We would definitely recommend Alkioni Hotel, make sure to try the excellent breakfast.

This is a really nice hotel. The hosts are great and they really make you feel at home. They clean the apartments and change the towels every day. Anna even treated us to some of her sweets and pastries for breakfast, which was really nice. Highly recommend.

The host is extremely friendly, helpful and likeable. The location is excellent in Finiki. Returning to find the room cleaned was a nice surprise, and the kitchen has more than most places we stayed in (beyond the usual fridge & kettle, even has a toaster & good quality sauce pans)

The cupboards in the kitchen smelled quite musty. Note if you're booking: - The "apartment with 2 beds" was just 1 bed which only measured 1.4m wide. (The studio by contrast had a nice wide queen/king sized bed). - When booking, note that the "swimming pool" is private for just one of the rooms. Our mistake.

Look no further! Minas and Anna exemplify the very best of Greek hospitality and graciousness. They'll welcome you like family. I've traveled all over Greece, renowned for its hospitality, and have not met many hosts of this caliber and warmth. The super comfy, spacious, and immaculately clean apartments overlook an idyllic fishing village and beach where you can watch amazing sunsets every night while listening to live traditional music being played at one of the seaside tavernas. The homemade breakfast is amazing and will fill you until well into the afternoon. Beyond its ideal location in Foiniki, the hotel is an incredibly short drive from the airport and amazing nearby beaches, and not that far of a drive to the other main beaches of the island, not to mention the breathtaking journey getting to those places. Minas knows everyone and every part of Karpathos. He gave outstanding recommendations for restaurants that offered some of the best food I've had in Greece as well as off the beaten path edenic beaches that simply made the trip even that more unforgettable.

The location is wonderful. The owner Minas met us with a warmest wolcome, introduced us to the room/suite, and everything to know about the hotel facilities and nearby points of interest. During the whole stay he and his wife Anna, were allaways ready to help and guide to whatever we needed. Breakfast is excellent, and the view with a couple of minutes walking distance to the beautifuly striking beach made it very special.
