It's our million time here, and as always a great pleasure! Fresh food, strong WiFi, clean rooms, strong hot water flow, location in the center of town, parking, what more do you need? I sent a load of clothes to a local laundry, and the laundry was about to close while I was away. The hotel staff went out of their way to bring the clean clothes to the hotel, and even paid the laundry lady for me to avoid an unpleasant situation. Every evening, all of us sat down for a cup of tea in the lobby, and the hotel staff let us use the kitchen utensils for that purpose. And they didn't let us do the dishes after us! Simply a pleasure, I will continue to come like every year!

The hotel was in the centre of town. We were able to park out the back of the hotel where there was a lift, so apart from 2 steps it was all flat the rest of the way to our room. Our room was a good size with a couch, chair and desk and another chair. There was room for our suitcases. There was a wide selection of breakfast foods..

We were confused about breakfast timing as we didn't remember what time the receptionist told us and the information in our room was different. When we came in, they had started to clear breakfast away. The kitchen staff were very gracious and brought food back out for us.

Good central location made all of Kalavryta's limited attractions easily accessible. We only went there to see the remarkable rack and pinion railway. Unfortunately the spa was out of action due to renovation wok (Kalavryta is a ski-resort so summer months are updating time) and low season. Breakfast was good and plenty of it from a buffet/ Room was large and comfy.

Annoyed that the spa was closed which we were only informed about after booking but we wouldn't have been using it anyway!! Only found their dedicated car park on our last day and hadn't been directed to it at check in despite them knowing we were in a hire car.

The room was very good with a wonderful view, clean and tight, the spa was excellent and the breakfast quite satisfied, the hotel had parking which is helpful and the staff was very polite

They didn't have room suitable for disabled peoples and they didn't allow pets which as they told me applies to the most hotels in Kalavryta

Excellent location, small room but clean. Good breakfast , especially for a three -star hotel, with several savory and sweet options, also for vegetarians (pre-prepared omelette but with bacon). Friendly and helpful staff. For 62 Euro/night, the hotel was satisfactory

There's a coffee machine but no electric water heater fot heating water for tea. Large cupboard but no shelves. Bedsheets and towels were not changed(we stayed two nights). Balcony was very dirty with pigeon droppings and was not cleaned throughout our stay although it should have been clear to housekeeping we were sitting outside, with things left on the table. Suggestion: close off space above A/C with some sort of mesh so the pigeons cannot roost there.

I liked almost everything about the hotel but the one thing I am gonna mention that stands out is the staff. They really understand the meaning of the word hospitality and of course the word Filoxenia.They are always helpful polite and make you feel like home and most of all they always smile! That smile of the staff is what I liked the most and nothing can beat it. When the staff in a hotel smiles without pretending you know you can expect a top notch experience. And our experience even if it was small in time was perfect.Thank you Filoxenia, we will definitely visit again!

The only turn down was the fact that the walls aren’t soundproofed

Helpfulness of the staff. Very comfortable bed and plenty of space in the room. Excellent breakfast and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. 10/10

When my partner used the shower, he put it on full power and a lot of water ended up on the floor. I, however, had no problem. Probably a sign to say only pull the lever halfway might help 🙂

The hotel is centrally located and easy to find, the staff were really friendly and helpful with excellent restaurant recommendations. Our room was spotless and in very good condition. The hotel is practical and well presented, breakfast was good and there is plenty of free parking.

Everything was spotless, creating a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. The balcony view of the village and mountains was breathtaking—perfect for a morning coffee. The rich breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options. A fantastic stay—I’d definitely return!

Great location, very friendly staff!

Breakfast fairly poor. Kalavrita and the surroundings have great variety of high quality local products. It would be nice to introduce some in the breakfast, instead of cheese and spinach pies from the supermarket. e.g, Honey and feta were nice addition and the salad was fresh.
