This is a small hotel, a very pleasant and quiet one. The room is spacious, and even have a small kitchen (though I did not use it aside of the fridge). The materases are very comfortable, linens and towels are fresh clean and are pleasant to touch. The room has the balcony with the see view; plus the balcony has its own tent, table and two chairs for relaxing or reading (the host reception has a book shelf). Also, the room equiped with an air conditioner, but I have't used it ones because balcony doors have shutters and that was enought for me to avoid the heat during my stay. I need to add that the brakfast is exelent!, including home made goat cheese and local honey (the hotel owner has goats and an apiary).

Mosquitoes. You'll need some electo fumigators or you won't have a quiet sleep.

We were at Vardes Hotel Studios for the second time. A quiet, peaceful place close to beautiful beaches. Minas provided us with airport transfer and welcomed ouzo. The breakfasts were very good (goat cheese, yogurt, home-made honey, delicious fruit (figs, pomegranates). The room was clean, spacious with a comfortable bed and a terrace. We, a family of five, had a wonderful stay at Vardes Hotel Studios. The homemade breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and nice, and the hosts were very friendly and service-minded. Vardes is a peaceful place to stay, only a few minutes walk from the beach, and the hosts are always ready to help you in every possible way.

Our vacation at Vardes hotel was wonderful! The hotel is a family business and you feel like home. The staff was very kind. Minas provided us the transfer from the airport and suggestions for our vacation. The place is very peaceful, perfect for relax. The breakfast prepared by Maria with fresh cheese and other Greek specialties was very good and abundant. The position is perfect. You can walk in a few minutes to Amoopi beaches where the sea is always calm even on windy days. There are also a few tavernas. The room was clean and spacious with a small terrace where you can have dinner with a great view.

Really good overnight stay before my plane out to Athens the next morning. (Name?) cheerfully met me at the ferry Port of Pigadia, then took me back to the airport the next morning after breakfast for a reasonable price. I appreciated a welcoming, filoxenia type evening ouzo upon arrival. The room was sparsely furnished but spacious and comfortable, with a view out to the sea in the distance. The breakfast on the terrace was very good and served with big smiles. I enjoyed my brief stay at the Vardes and would definitely stay again!

The host was so kind and welcoming. The room was big and very comfortable. The hot water and air conditioning were very nice. The views of the ocean from our balcony were amazing. My wife and I have stayed here twice, and we will stay here again when we are in Amoopi!

The room was spacious with a beautiful balcony view. The property is easily walkable to several nice beaches and the setting is quiet and more traditional with olive and fruit trees. The family (and kitten) is lovely and very accommodating, which was nice after long, delayed flights and a not great experience with a taxi driver from the airport. Breakfast was amazing with fruit juice, coffee, an egg, delicious yogurt with their own honey and homemade cheese.

Nothing, really. it would have been helpful to have contact information for a good taxi driver from the airport to avoid hassle in getting there. It was still low season so nothing was open nearby, but they warned me I. advance so I could bring stuff for dinner.

Maria and Minas are lovely hosts. The breakfast served is local produce, beautifully presented and very tasty. Large studio, very clean, with a very comfortable bed. Quietly located down a driveway, so take a torch! Very peaceful. Highly recommended. Minas and Maria were so helpful with our onward travel plans- thank you.

Very convenient location, walking distance to one of the best beaches on the island, extremely friendly and willing to help owners. Breakfast with local products a big plus!

Water pressure was low, mattresses not very comfortable

I absolutely loved the breakfast! The room was spacious and the balcony with sea view. Furthermore they cleaned the room and changed the sheets and towels every two days. The walk to the beach is about 5-10 minutes. Super friendly hosts. Our flight back home was late at night, we had to leave our room at 12pm but they gave us another room to shower before we left!

It was very windy and you could hear the wind through the door gap pretty loudly
