Right in the heart of the town, at one minute from the Byzantine Tower. Clean room, very well equipped. High speed internet connection. Big size balcony with a two-side splendide sea view. The bathroom's supplies were renewed every day, as well as the water bottles.

No breakfast options. Quite small room. No parking options on premise, we had to pay for a parking space in a nearby private parking lot. The walls felt too thin, allowing the noises from neighbours to be easily heard. Having the room at the last floor, we could hear during the night the sun awning blown by the wind.

- Amazing location, right in the center of Ouranopolis, close to restaurants, harbour, beach, etc. - Good price/quality ratio. - It’s a basic room, fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep and won’t spend much time there. - The bathroom is in better condition than the room itself, as it seems to have been renovated.

- I booked a double bed room, but was given a twin room instead. - The room looked better in photos than in person. - The room and furniture are quite dated. - The curtains didn’t fully cover the window, allowing a significant amount of light to enter the room at night. - The room was quite noisy.

Very convenient central location for going into Mount Athos. A couple of minutes walk to the Thessaloniki bus stop, to the boats for the Monasteries, to the boat ticket office and the pilgrims' office (to obtain the entrance document). At the same time centrally located in the town of Ouranoupolis itself for shopping, walking around, parking a car and getting information.

I would have liked to have more time to stay more. Although Mount Athos was my objective, Ouranoupolis is worth a visit and staying there might have been a nice experience.

Hosts were lovely and very relaxed about the checkout time. Although Ouranoupoli is so small that one could say that all places are well located, the added advantage of Athos is that it's right opposite the bus stop, and really close to tavernas and the small village beach. The room was a standard Greek "rooms to let" kind of place: comfy, clean, with a small veranda and a small fridge. We'd definitely consider staying there again. Thanks!

Room was by the main road, which isn't the ideal location if one prefers to sleep with the fan on instead of the air condition.

Couldn't be more centrally located on the main street within a minute's walk of tavernas, bars and the beach. Also 5 minute's walk from a large long stay car park (8 euros for 24 hours)

Being centrally located there was a bit of outside noise late at night but nothing too excessive. Just a few loud drunken tourists. Furniture and fittings were a bit dated but everything worked.⁷

The owner Xenophon was extremely helpful and respectful. His hospitality was amazing. We stayed a night before going to Mount Athos and he was very helpful in helping us resolve an issue we had with our diamonitirion. Location was walking distance to the Port and pilgrims bureau.

Top location right next to the port and centre of the village. The owners are very friendly and forthcoming, providing good advises for trips, beaches, activities and restaurants.

Elderly house but provides all necessary needs, but don't expect high-tech modern rooms. No parking included but there is a parking available for EUR4 p/day.

Location perfect for going to / coming in from Athos . Very short walk to Pilgrims office ; ferry office and the boat . Lots of restaurants and bars in centre of village ~ also shops .

Parking arrangements would have been nice ~ but you can’t have everything.

Keep in mind than live is better than photos! Very polite householders. Clean, comfortable, cozy, mosquito protected, sun protected on the balcony (with adjustable awning). Coffee, tea, water, bath stuff provided in the room. Central location, next to the Byzantine Tower. Even the noise from the street is not annoying, because it stops around midnight.

We had a great stay. The place was clean. The location was super convenient and made it easy to explore the area. The host was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely recommend and would love to come back
