The staff was welcoming and offered us a bagged breakfast due to our early departure. The restaraunt was exception service and food! The room was exactly as advertised and provided good amenities for our short stay.

The Shuttle never showed and we didn't get a response from the Hotel. Due to the Ferrie strike we had to grab a very expensive flight from Mykenose to Athens last minute. We had a confirmed 19:30 pick-up at the Athens airport and shuttle never showed. We tried to call but the line would not connect. We emailed and never received a response. We had to hire a taxi and the staff never apologized or offered reimbursement for the additional cost we incurred.

Hotel beautiful, new & clean. Views excellent. Bar staff very friendly, particularly the young man that served us. Was extremely friendly, polite & informative. 11/10 to him. Room was great, key lockable safe great. Shuttle good, driver friendly. Food was great. Etc Etc... We will come again.

Shuttle bus colors differ. One is new & black, the others white & with teal green text. A bit confusing. We only saw the name on the black bus as he was leaving. Would be good for your Hotel to put both photos of both buses on your website. Also would be good if your driver did a quick walk up & down with an AVRA HOTEL sign. This would be good for advertising your Hotel. 2. Would be easier & less stressful for tourists trying to find the Shuttle Bus.

The staff, location, room (with sea view and balcony), good variety of dining choices close by, complementary airport shuttle (not used but will next time) and the variety of quality food for the buffet breakfast.

An international junior sports club were staying. They boys were loud and hanging off their balconies shouting and swearing at people outside and roaming around the foyer in large groups...it was unpleasant and went on for hours. The staff were informed and were apologetic but the poor behaviour did not stop. At breakfast the boys devoured trays of breakfast food like locusts. The staff arranged to bring some food items to my room which I had patiently waited for over 30 minutes. The reception staff said they would not rebook another junior sports club in the future. With this in mind I will stay again next year.

Fantastic location in the centre of town, close to the port and local amenities. Paying for a sea view is definitely worth it, as was the 40 Euros to keep the room until leaving at 16.30. Good choice for breakfast, staff very polite and friendly. Free shuttle to/from the airport is a great complimentary service.

Only two coffee capsules in room and when asked for a couple more, was told only two were complimentary and coffee could be purchased from the coffee shop. Not ideal when wanting a couple of drinks on the balcony before showering and dressing to go to breakfast.

We have stayed here before and used the hotel after arriving late into Athens airport and getting an early morning ferry from Rafina to the islands (2023). We chose to stay here again this year as we arrived early evening into Athens airport and had an early morning flight from Athens airport to the islands. The hotel and facilities are just as they were 2 years ago - which I feel is rare nowadays, a high standard has been maintained well. The free shuttle bus to and from the airport, price and quality of the hotel are what sells it to us. Rafina itself is also a lovely place to spend an evening. We will certainly continue to return in future years, it’s perfect for us.

There was a bit of panic/stress with our airport pick-up this year due to a delayed flight and possible misunderstanding/miscommunication with hotel staff. In the end we just jumped on the next scheduled pick-up and hoped for the best, luckily the driver didn’t do a head count and it wasn’t full so we were fine.

It was close to the airport and the room had a view over the ocean. It was clean with a nice bathroom and toiletries. They allowed late check out and the free shuttle to airport was very convenient.

The wifi was very poor for the price of the rooms- it kept going in and out. The shuttle from the airport and back was delayed both times, so something to keep in mind when planning your timing.

Great location, modern hotel.

At first my son's room was allocated a room on a different floor. Only after there was a problem in his room was he moved to our floor. Would have liked to have an electric kettle in the room (for making tea / coffee). No English speaking TV channels (CNN / BBC).

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to restaurants nearby. It is in walking distance of the ferries as well. We used the free airport shuttle which was very convenient to get to the airport which is nearby. There is also a little beach nearby in walking distance as well with a couple of bars at it. It was a great location to stay for a night before heading home on our trip. We had four people and had an adjoining room. One of the rooms had a view of the beach and even had a balcony which worked great for drying our swimsuits and towels. The rooms were very comfortable and it worked great for our family.

Lovely location on the coast at a cute ferry port, lots of restaurants and a lovely view. The breakfast was good and the room was just what we needed for a night before our flight home.

We were there on a very windy day and night and the wind whistled (shrieked, actually). Was difficult to fall asleep. The bathroom was a little odd. A window opened into an unbuilt cavity in the building, opposite another bathroom window. A ventilation system would have been far more classy and discreet. For the decor and little quirks we found the price a bit too high. We were there peak season, but had stayed in nicer places for less during our trip.

Located close to the ferry terminal. Free shuttle bus to/from the airport. Staff were all very polite and helpful. Breakfast selection was vary varied and plentiful. Great sitting area overlooking the water for relaxing with a drink. The in-house restaurant food quality was excellent. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Great view of the water and ferry activity.

In the larger 3-bed room where we stayed, the wheelchair friendly shower tended to flood half of the floor, and we kept bumping the extended tap handle. The workaround was to create a temporary bund with a rolled up sacrificial towel. Also, there was no tea-making facility.
