We loved our accommodations at this beautiful, quaint and tranquil hotel in the middle of Tinos town. The location was excellent which allowed us to walk to the port for dinner and shopping and our hosts were extremely hospitable. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Many thanks to our host Ms. Despina and the entire staff. We look forward to visiting this gem of a hotel again. We highly suggest you stay here during your visit to Tinos. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. It was emotional to leave this place. We enjoyed it thoroughly.

A Hidden Gem in Tinos! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel in Tinos, Greece, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality that truly set the tone for our entire stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk from both the beach and the charming town center, making it easy to explore all that Tinos has to offer. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated with a blend of modern comforts and traditional Cycladic style. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed, including fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a well-equipped bathroom. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything fresh and tidy. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, always ready to help with recommendations, from the best local restaurants to hidden spots around the island. They made us feel like part of the family, which added a special touch to our trip. We also took advantage of the hotel’s breakfast buffet, which was a highlight of our mornings. The spread included fresh pastries, local cheeses, yogurt with honey, and a selection of fruits and juices. It was the perfect way to start each day before heading out for sightseeing. If you’re planning a trip to Tinos and want a peaceful retreat with amazing service, I highly recommend this hotel. I can’t wait to return! 🌊💙

everything was perfect

The breakfast everyday was a great touch, very good mix. Sitting around In the mornings we met people from all over. Our family had 4 of the 18 rooms and we were close together. Susan was awesome she got us a Taxi to take us around for the day to see all the Island that we would not have been able to take in. The rooms were quaint, charming so clean and airy. Loved the location so close to town. St Nicks was breathtaking. Thespina the owner was so nice and accommodating we may have our rooms picked out for next year at Easter Time. !

That we couldn't stay longer.

We stayed in the largest room with a terrace; the balcony was very comfortable and had a nice view. The location was within walking distance to the restaurant and the town center.

Although the breakfast had a wide variety, there were too many pastries and cakes. We would have preferred more greens and egg options instead. Also, starting breakfast at 8:30 is quite late for early-rising guests — it was already crowded as soon as it began.

An absolutely wonderful stay in Tinos! The hospitality was truly top-notch — warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The room was very comfortable with an impressive level of cleanliness. On top of that, the location is perfect, making it easy to explore the island and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Marcos was very helpful and willing any time to support on any questions and requests we had. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tinos.

Onar is an excellent hotel to spend your holiday in Tinos. The staff are helpful, smiley and very attentive. The view from our suite is possibly the best in the island. We totally enjoyed our room; the whole design merged comfort, style and Cycladic design totally immersing you to a Greek island experience. Breakfast was amazing, you could enjoy local sweet and savoury options and they could make your custom iced coffee too, which is a bonus. Thank you for everything Onar team. We are hoping to come back soon!

The hotel is nicely appointed, the staff is fantastic and they serve a delicious breakfast. Their location is great - up the street from the port and an easy 7-minute walk into the center of Chora. However, they are in a quiet street, away from the busy touristy areas. There was plenty of street parking in front of the hotel. We will definitely stay here again during our next visit to Tinos.

We loved the hotel. Even though they serve a great breakfast, it would be nice to have an expresso machine in the room.

Onar is extremely central. The staff is exceptional and so helpful, we needed help with restaurant booking and they sat with us and helped. The owner is so lovely, gave us a goodbye gift when we left. The view from this hotel is just like the pictures, would definitely recommend this! The breakfast was delicious and different everyday, all was fresh and clean. This was such a gem of a place!

The location was perfect and the view amazing

The jacuzzi is rather a bath tub as it had just a few weak jets. Since this was a reason why we have chosen this room it was a dissapointment. The breakfast was quite average. The food is served on one small table for the whole hotel so everyone needs to hold a tray to pick the food and find a spot where to put it. We had to cover the escape light above the door with our jacket as it was so bright in the night we could not sleep.
