We spent a full week at Altana hotel and had a wonderful stay, definitely would recommend this place for Tinos. The hotel is located close to the town and we walked about 20mins to be at the port/in the town - the place to be at night. There is also a bus station infront of the hotel, but we walked everywhere. The breakfast in the hotel was amazing! It had a lot of options and a high quality. Variety of fruits, nuts, cheeses, and bread…a lot of local products. For breakfast there was a beautiful terrace to sit outside and overlook the sea. The room interior is in the cycladic style, light & airy. It has all necessities and we felt very comfortable. The room was cleaned daily (unless we didn‘t want to) with new towels also brought daily. During our stay Angela was giving us a lot of tips on where to go and we were always chatting nicely with her before/after breakfast. She and Clea were always friendly and helpful. Infront of the hotel there were free parking spots from the hotel. A few km northwest there are several nice beaches to reach by feet. Tavernas were also nearby. The reception provided medical hand sanitizer, which we highly appreciated for disinfection before entering our rooms. Overall we enjoyed this stay to the fullest and found a great deal that we would like to visit again!

I really fell on my feet when I chose this little gem of a hotel, the hotel it’s self is Lovely But & its the most important part of my review is that the owners maki’s his Lovely wife Angela & definitely not to forget the night manager Chery were just wonderful & I felt at home they couldn’t have made my stay more special if they tried, I’m looking forward to returning with my wife later in the year 🙏 thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality 😎🙏🌴❤️

The owner herself prepared a breakfast buffet that has everything you could wish for. She combines specialities from Tinos with home made marmelades, fresh Greek joghurts, fresh baked goods, fruits, eggs, bacon, sausages, delicious juices etc. And very comfortable seating looking at the ocean. The hotel is perfectly clean. The service is excellent. While you are at breakfast your room is completely made up again. The location of the hotel is great too, just a shirt walk to the heart of the town. Close to a little beach and the ferry.

There is not a lot that could be better.

The staff at Altana was amazing - warm, welcoming, available to help, and went above and beyond expectations in terms of service. The breakfast was generous - they offer a continental style , help yourself breakfast with cold and hot options and many local, Greek products. The bed was super comfy and the AC strong enough to compete with the summer heat. We didn’t have a car rental and found the 10 min walk into town to be easy, access to public transit great from this location.

Pool was a bit too cold, but otherwise beautiful.

Excellent stay friendly staff Room was so beautifully decorated well equipped I didn’t want to leave fabulous hotel and excellent location Walking distance to the town Breakfast was also superb

Exceptional breakfast with local produce. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Super pool which was refreshing after a day out and about. The bed and pillows were excellent and the room was nice. Overall a very nice hotel and would highly recommend

Our room overlooked the petrol station but it really wasn’t an issue . Paper cups in the room detracted from the overall high quality.

All beautiful, white, clean. All the staff were friendly and kind. Delicious breakfast, very generous. And a pool!

Extremely hospitable staff and very nice facilities. Accommodating in every sense of the word and convenient to the port and main city.

The room was airy, bright and clean. Housekeeping was very good everyday, staff were so attentive (giving directions, recommendations & extras such as beach towels!) The biggest selling point is the kitchen facilities which allowed us to eat in on a few occasions, I recommend the suite! The hotel also only has 12 rooms, such a cosy & homely feeling whilst abroad & in keeping with the greek traditional architecture.

Breakfast could have been slightly more varied but the food was great!
