Grand Coastal Hotel looks as good as the pictures and more. We had a beautiful room, and loved using the pool. The food was exceptional and by far the best we had in Guyana. We did not need to leave the accommodation for our entire stay as a result, which can be nice after the busyness and intensity of Georgetown. The manager was quick to respond to any issues we had, and allowed us to stay late using the pool before we left, which we greatly appreciated.

Wi-Fi was strong when it worked, but had some intermittency. There is building work going on but it didn’t affect our stay, although there were no sun beds due to the work.

Restaurant is incredibly slow. I ordered dinner and it took about an hour for the food to reach. Same in the morning for breakfast. They have so many staff but it is impossible to get their attention. I paid for the breakfast which i always complain that this is not included. I can’t remember the price but it was exorbitant for a couple bits of sausage, two eggs and the driest toast ever. The whole thing was like eating rocks for the price tag of diamonds The room was awesome … but! The sink is built so strange that you have to lean right over to use (I’m 6’3 and it was still hard). And the room I was in on the ground floor was exposed to all the traffic and the laundry that rumbles and crashes all through the evening and night with staff calling to each other at full volume

The location of GCH is good for two malls and Ogle airport. Most staff were friendly and helpful. From Das who greeted us on the first night and catered to our every whim, to Cheryl who took care of our food needs and Troy who ensured that we had an early service of breakfast before we left on a trip. The layout of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are large and clean. The food is well prepared and varied- please try the Bunjal shrimp! Highlight was an excellent massage by Liz in the Spa.

I felt the location was a little too noisy as the hotel is on a main road. Just me, but I found the pool too exposed to feel comfortable using it, even though I wanted to swim.

The Grand Coastal Hotel is beautiful and located in a safe area of town. The grounds are just as pictured and the staff was perfectly helpful and polite! The restaurant is super popular but hotel guests in the side rooms cannot hear that noise of music.

It can be a bit noisy in the mornings when traffic gets going. The food is a bit expensive but it is tasty! It's not as centrally located as other hotels in Kingston but cab rides are affordable.

The service and the atmosphere were our favorite part. The indoor/outdoor design had a refreshing breeze and it felt romantic. The service was amazing from the time we arrived. Three people stoodout. TROY who made sure we had whatever we needed for our stay, made us aware of the best views from the patio for the Diwali motorcade. He is so professional and our experience was enhanced by him - also he was very knowledgeable on questions we had. CHERYL was our waitress at night and the next morning for brunch. We recognized her from a cute Instagram video on the hotel's page. She was fun and again super professional. She handled some very large parties while still making sure we had a great experience. Also the restaurant food was delicious (chicken curry, fried rice, dahl). Third, COLLIN was a wonderful host on our last morning. He is so pleasant, professional and I really felt he wanted us to have the best experience possible and we left smiling, refreshed and so very glad we came.

I wish the pool had a little more privacy. It's so beautiful for the atmosphere but if I was to actually swim it may be awkward being the only person in a swimsuit. But still beautiful

Loved the ambiance as soon as you walk in. The receptionist was exceptional kind and so were the rest of the staff.

A menu for each day with prices and the prices for the buffet in the room. I had to do a little digging to find out that information and make it clear to my partner. The prices for the buffet were also a bit steep. Additionally the parking lines could be divided into more defined parking spaces.

The breakfast and room service was great. I also enjoyed the food especially the burgers and chicken wings. I also had great service from the taxi drivers Romel and Rhaj who were very helpful.

The room was a bit close to the kitchen so there was a lot of noise even into the night which could be a bit disruptive.

I came to visit Guyana from the US. This hotel was perfect for my first time and I would definitely come back again. Between the service, restaurant, security and the hotel taxi service. Everything was perfect. I was not expecting it at all on my first trip here. I will never forget this experience and take another trip back. 10/10

Such friendly staff and a beautiful place with large spacious rooms. Loved that there was a shuttle to the airport as well. I came here after having an absolutely horrible experience at a different B&B booking. Really wish I had just booked here in the first place. Highly recommend it!

The room that I was placed in was next to the public rood, and the traffic was very disturbing. I did not sleep the first night. However, management placed us in another room, which was better thanks to them
