Location is perfect, room was clean and comfortable, everything works great- air conditioning, hot water, security keys. I booked only one night at first to check it out but stayed there the full 10 days in HK. I’m a solo female traveler from the US and found no issues with safety at Chung King Mansions. Everyone at the building was polite and friendly at any time of day or night. No issues with vendors downstairs or elevator’s waiting time. I took the stairs once just to check it out and it was completely fine as well. At the guest house Amina is the most kind, attentive and beautiful lady helping you with anything you might need. Sonu the gentlemen at check in was very professional and nice as well, keeping my luggage safe well before check in time. I do take my reviews very seriously and I 100% recommend this guest house. I hope it will be available on my way back to Boston in a couple of months.

This is not a large room but Hong Kong is an expensive place and, for what you pay, it is well worth the money. As long as you don't expect space and luxury then you will be happy enough. If you need the space then you will need to pay more to get it in Hong Kong.. a lot more! The staff at Manhattan guesthouse are very helpful, the place is clean, there is free drinking water available (both hot and cold) and the WiFi is reliable. The location is great, being right in the heart of it all and a very short walk from the harbour. The area is interesting... in a good way, as you will be staying in amongst where many locals live and work, their shops and also other budget minded travellers. Thank you Aminah, especially, for your help and for making our trip memorable.

The room was smaller than I expected, at 7 square meters, but that was my fault because I didn't read the full description. We made it work though and I soon realised that, for the money and because it also included an ensuite, it was worth it.

It's a decent place to stay for a couple of days। Good location abd comfortable beds to sleep but very small washroom and bathing space. However you cannot complain going by the high accommodation prices of Hongkong and what u get at this budget price.. Good for a solo traveler for couple of days. Right in the heart of the City and close to all touristy attractions as well as places to eat for a Indian as there are lots of Indian fast food outlets and small restaurants below this building.

The staff are friendly and very professional. The Wi-Fi at this place was also fast. The place is located in the downtown area and there’s lots to do nearby and it’s near the train station. Would recommend the place for anyone who would like to travel to Hong Kong for 2-3 days, for the price, convenience of the location and the friendly staff.

The elevator took a long time to come because there were a lot of people always going on and getting off. Also, the elevator is a small one not big so the wait time is long.

The staff is very helpful and nice. If you just need the place to sleep, this is an excellent choice with the air conditioner and toilet inside.

very short stay, but room was bigger than I expected. Clean and decent sized bathroom. I booked it because it was cheap and I was concerned the facilities might be poor so I booked for a short period, but facilities were good, so wish I had booked for much longer.

Rooms are clean , they are very friendly and helpful. If you need anything they provide you right away. I will definitely stay here again.

since it’s a budget accommodation, the size is quite small. but it is hong kong, we expected it already.
