The hotel itself was very well presented. Lovely decor and lots of plants around, which was refreshing. The staff were lovely and always on hand to help. The restaurant upstairs was fab and we really liked the millet menu as well the other offerings. The breakfast set up was great also, something new to try each day. The room service was great and they cleaned the room to a high standard each day.

The fan in our room only ran at maximum speed or low speed which often meant we had no choice but to leave it at max, which was very noisy. The A/C made a constant ticking sound when it was on which was quite disruptive. The WiFi dropped out constantly meaning you had to reconnect every few minutes, which was annoying.

I stayed for 4 nights with family (2 rooms) at Mani Mansion. It is an excellent cross between the staffing and predictability of a hotel, and the warmth and personality of a home stay. It has a really beautiful building, eclectically designed, with a nice foyer and stairway. Each room inside is different (we got room 205, which was a premium suite.) It is it an excellent location in Paldi, just 2 minutes from the Kocharab ashram (well worth visiting), where Gandhi started his legendary stint in India. The mansion is situated in a leafy, green heighborhood and has a lot of plants. The highlights for me were the friendly and accommodative staff, and the Gunnatvam millet restaurant on the top floor. Whenever I used to ask for tea or snacks, it was made available. The host Tapanbhai himself came over at the restaurant to ask us if everything was ok.

The only slightly downside was that the hotel WiFi was spotty and in room 205, mobile coverage was also poor, so some of my work calls were difficult. But I recommend going there with no laptop, just a book, and enjoy the ambience.

Amazing staff and heritage feel to the hotel, large rooms and homely feel, highly recommended if you value heritage over 5* overly designed new hotels, yes it's a bit fraid around the edges, but it OK its 100th year, wouldn't you be, family run and you don't often get served breakfast by the owner, with his own home made pastries and then told to knock on his private suite anytime if we need anything...

Great property in a lovely garden setting, it’s just a bit difficult to find as its down an alleyway, not a road. Friendly reception staff kindly upgraded my room which was clean & spacious with a large bathroom. The food was delicious with a huge variety of veg & international dishes for breakfast, lunch & dinner. There’s also an enticing pool. It felt like an oasis in a big city and I enjoyed it so much I have booked to return.

The hotel is well managed as the prop too stays in the same property. During breakfast, i met the gentleman who owns and runs the property, too was taking his breakfast.

Though the room had a tea kettle and tea coffee kits, BUT there were no tea cups. Surely an avoidable slip in service

Very good environment. Peaceful and calm. Very much relaxing. The staff was awesome and has very good hospitality. Room facilities are excellent. Breakfast was delicious.

The swimming pool and garden area is good but not able to use due to some works.

Location and also the classic heritage look. Staff are also friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided with everything and helped us with every request. We had a late night flight, so after we made the check out, they allowed us to keep our luggages in the lobby. The restaurant is very good, the food is delicious and the prices are great. Aprox 20 min ride to the airport
