The staff is outstanding... from the shuttle driver to the bell boys to the housekeeping and restaurant staff. Everyone smiled a lot were happy to accomodate reasonable reuquest.. eg extending complimentary rates hours by 15 minutes while we were on our way back. The property itself is thoughtfully designed with all rooms having a lake view (albeit through thick foliage). There are thoughtful sit outs to enjoy a drink or just commune with nature

Parking. There is limited parking on the property and self driven cars are sent to a rather dusty parking lot 1 km away. They have a shuttle to the parking but no valet or cleaning service. Our car was caked with dust on our departure. The guard on duty kindly agreed to clean up with a bucket of water... but the cleaning could have been arranged for without an obligation.

The location of the Hotel is a big Pro. It is situated on a hillock, overlooking the Bhimtal Lake and the surrounding mountain ranges. The rooms were Spacious, well lit, with huge floor to ceiling windows opening to a balcony and looking over the lake and also stargazing/sunbathing panes above it... The room itself was centrally very well heated and very comfortable. All the amenities were up to the mark and the Hotel Staff was quick, efficient and polite at every point during our stay. The breakfast spread was amazing, a lot of options and also in their Lake View Cafe, which was really good. The in-room dining prices were not too high, but it was a bit on the expensive side. All things considered, Rosefinch Sarovar Portico is one of the best hotels in the area and it is elegant, regal and luxurious. They have everything required and more. They can arrange for a romantic dinner and bonfire and trust me, with these views, the arrangements are beautiful.

The only thing which was a bit weird was that the wardrobe in our room was in the bathroom, which was a bit funny 😂

Compliments to the Duty Manager on 16th for promptly confirming availability of a room without prior reservation. Clean and comfy rooms. The food for all three meals and the complimentary breakfasts was yummy! Specially loved the Kumaoni raitha! Recommend stay here if one is planning a darshan at Kainchi Dham/Hanumangarhi. Thanks to the team at Sarovar Portico, Bhimtal.

We never expected the hotel to be so beautiful. Our rooms were spacious with all the amenities needed for a short stay. Beautiful view and good location too.

The cappuccino we ordered was terrible. It hardly had any coffee and it had spilled all over. When I told the waiter, he simply said it was froth. It wasn't.

Beautiful location overlooking the lake, and easy road access to compared to many other nearby places. Huge trees around the property makes it feel very cosy and green. The food is quite good. Rooms are spacious and clean.

The rooms can get cold at night during peak winter season.

Breakfast is very tasty, location is very nice & scenic, architecture was very beautiful. Total luxury. Overall experience was wonderful. Whenever will go to Bhimtal, I will prefer to stay here. It's a go to choice.

Nothing as such.

Modern property located atop Bhimtal Lake with clean rooms and helpful staff. Views of the Lake are a little restricted owing to foliage & ubiquitous cable wires. Menu is limited other than Indian but the chef & his team are willing to help out. Hotel does not have a gym.

No dislikes

The staff were extremely friendly. Umesh and his team made sure fresh food was served for breakfast and the service was quick. The rooms were clean and in house biotique soap and shampoo was kept. The rooms overlook Bhimtal lake and mornings are beautiful. Hotel has a thirdparty company that arranges adventure activitiees and camping. Camping is highly recommended overlooking the lake

Parking is away from the resort

Very well planned breakfast menu. Good, attentive and hospitable staff. The property is very green and enjoys good views. All the staff from security to valet to front desk, room service and in room dining were very polite and attentive. Excellent stay overall
