EVERYTHING ....simply everything . each and every person starting from the gatemen to the housekeeping and guest relations in the Hotel were very welcoming , very warm and smiling. Members of the staff , Bimla in Machan particularly was so hospitable. Inspite of managing buffets she managed to take care of each individual requests that we made. Chef Mohan Negi and Chef Jeetu went out of their way to give us a peek into a culinary heaven. We kept booking and cancelling cars one particular day due to bad weather and yet the Concierge never ever made us feel bad about that. Every request was attended with utmost care and attention. The stay at the Taj Lakefront , Bhopal made the entire holiday worth it. A special mention of the food ... the food is OUTSTANDING !!!! and that's a very modest compliment . We tried the Machan buffet for all three meals and in every meal the menu was different and the food quality and taste was superlative. When in Taj Lakefront , please try their Mutton dishes ...its a must try thing , no matter what the preparation - Nihari , Rara Gosht or Kosha Mangsho !! Everyone in Machan was more than helpful and suggested different items to try on. We welcomed and loved their suggestions. Taj is known for its hospitality but among them for me Taj Lakefront deserves a special mention. Thank you Taj Lakefront Bhopal for an absolutely spectacular memorable stay

Our stay was excellent. Location of hotel is good near lake. Our check in was very quick. Staff was very pleasing and polite and helped us in all respect. Nice garden. lake view from our room and top was awesome. Food served in room was good. Breakfast was very good with lot of varieties. Room was very clean. Beds were good. toilet was clean. House keeping was good. Hotel looked very safe for travelers. I strongly recommend this hotel to every one.

Lovely property on the lake.. just the place to wind up after a long day at work .There was a slight lag at late night check in due to a tech glitch which the duty Manager Mr Ankit made that up by. upgrade and late check out. Planning to make the Taj lakeside my go to hotel in Bhopal

The terrace swimming pool closes early 8 pm which does not work for biz travellers like us

The hotel is a brand-new, well-designed building that is both super comfortable and functional. I had a beautiful view from my room, and the spa and fitness center exceeded my expectations. It's a great place to stay.

My stay could have been perfect; however, the staff need more training on how to deal with Booking.com guests. I had to check out early and asked for information about the policy, which required me to call Booking.com directly. Despite everything being aligned, I was embarrassed during my checkout when the hotel tried to charge for the full reservation. This led to a 30-minute phone call and a discussion with the manager, an experience I definitely did not expect. Additionally, the restaurant is satisfactory but not 5-star quality. The food is generic with few à la carte options; most of it was available in a buffet that lacked flavor.

Location, aesthetics, food spread, staff at the reception and in travel, the toiletry quality....The most kind gesture (and definitely not something that one could force or claim), was for the property to give us a very very early morning check in. We were three women travelling from different cities to Bhopal and reached by train(s) very early morning and the property gave us a room immediately....6 hours early!! THANK YOU Taj :)

Service from house keeping is insanely slow! It is unbelievably slow. Whether you request for water or to replenish tea bags etc or to make the 3rd bed......it takes over half an hour for anything! The last day, we didn't receive water from when we requested in the morning to even our check out time....we just didn't. This is an unusual thing to see at The Taj.

The breakfast was amazing, quite a big spread! The quality of food was of high standard. The staff was courteous and helpful. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. Spectacular views from the hotel.

Slightly away from the airport and town. A bit secluded but in a serene surrounding if you’re in a group and in a mood to explore the wilderness and the natural beauty the place and surrounding has to offer.

The staff - Rajat, Lakshman, Priya, Aradhana and the doorman Sushil, the reception staff - everyone was sooooo good ! The staff in the all day dining restaurant Machan were excellent, so caring ! Well done Taj. Keep the staff happy and customers will be happy

The wedding and noise at night. Maybe the glass is not noise insulated. It ruined the night sleep

Amenities and service. I used the spa and gym a few times during my stay. Staff were very helpful and knew how to provide a great customer service.

I wish the restaurant on Level 1 was opened for lunch and the outdoor pool / pool area would benefit from a refurbishment. The hotel is beautiful but the pool area feels like an after thought / lower quality.

I haven't yet received such warmth at dining in any 5 star hotel. Thank you brother, you're amazing. I think you guys work tirelessly and make Taj what it is known for. Thank you again :)

More snacking options at the pool side bar would be appreciated. Size of the room could have been bigger.

The location is everything!

I am very used to intuitive service at Taj. I kept asking for a Lakeview room and they just still checked me on to a hill view one. I was later told that my room reservation was such. I requested that if they could change my room I will be happy to pay more as I didn't realise the specifics of the booking. I was happy rhereafter!
