Beautiful and huge facility. It's like living in a jungle resort right in the middle of the city. Full of artifacts and show pieces everywhere. Lot of greenery and flowers, birds n butterflies. Courteous staff all over the hotel will greet you with a smile every time you meet them. Lagoon and the Shiv Mandir by the side of it were great. Jogging track was a bonus.

Did not like the fuss created by the hotel front desk team on changing the name of the guest using the room for 2 days. They forced me to pay additional money for double occupancy in spite of only one person staying in the room for each night. The excuse they gave me for this was as the booking is through booking.com, hence they cannot make any changes. But happily changed room to double occupancy to get extra money from me. Not expected such experience from Mayfair.

Absolutely amazing experience staying at the Mayfair. We stayed for 4 nights to attend the wedding of friends and I didn't leave the hotel at all during those days, that's how much I enjoyed the general atmosphere, room, pool, several restaurants, spa area. Quiet at night and fantastic breakfast buffet. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. It's expensive for Indian standards but totally worth the money.

Hotel is like a mini museum with artifacts across the entire property (every nook and corner is beautifully decorated even though there is a mixed theme to the decoration - Indian, Greek, Thai etc). The executive rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated with large connecting bathrooms. The property has many restaurants (though a bit overpriced for the quality).

Our bathrooms (in 2 of our rooms) had a bad sewer smell and needs to be fixed.

MayFair Lagoon is extremely attractive and very carefully designed very pretty hotel, a resort within the city. Very well appointed rooms, extremely good quality furnishings, linen, towels, toiletries, bath fixtures, bed quality, every thing inside the room is majestic. 5-6 restaurants, serving distinct cuisine, very tasty in each place. Italian, Chinese, Indian, Local Odisha food, the Bakery and Chaats/Snacks resturant are all distinct, exclusive in taste and very nice food in each place. Top class service, attentive managers and operating staff. Very good swimming pool in dream like setting. A lagoon with fountains is attractive and many rooms are facing the freshness of this water body. They have a library that most hotels can't match in terms of space & beauty Similarly, a very attractive & well appointed bar. Outside sitting area has a open air bar & resturant, excellent setting. This resort is extremely pretty. The interiors planning in walkways is very attractive, elaborate & exciting. Thru out the resort, very beautiful life size sculptures are placed, there are vintage cars and a real Beechcraft aircraft body on display. The green areas are maintained extremely well. Cleanliness is of highest level. There must be 100 Selfie points/photo spots in this hotel. Great place to relax and spend time with yourself. Very close to city center and hence great location too. I have been a global traveller in top class Properties for decades. MayFair Lagoon is one of the best properties I have seen, in its completeness. Great place to stay or even just for meet up.

Noting in particular, very superior property. However, the building planning being cylindrical, walk from the Reception to the rooms or coffee shop can be very long. Though very alluring, but for long stay, it can be tiring. There are very few buggies, but it's an alternative. Executive Suite rooms are a strict no-no for me in this property. These are very well appointed and large spaces, but have have no views or balcony or open spaces, feel claustrophobic and overlook other windows ( surprisingly). The ground floor rooms have low day light due to green cover just outside the rooms, compensated with the balconies. Great rooms are Lagoon facing and they have lots of these.

Decors and interiors were splendid, had great time , entire property was a visual treat ,could click some really good colourful pictures. Food at nakli dhabha and tea pot was very good, fish stew,sea food broth ,chicken sausages was really yummy 😋

The facility is very well maintained. Staff is very courteous. The hotel is in green Environment with endless sculptures on walking pathway. Food is simply delicious.

I suggest the management to offer swimming costumes on rent. Like towels, the costumes may also be washed and reused. This will allow better utilisation of swimming pool, suppliment funds to pool maintenance costs, more satisfaction to customers. Better display actual depth of swimming pool as it seemed deeper than displayed when I used it. God forbid, if any untoward incident happen in the pool, incorrect information about depth may become crucial.

This is an excellent property. Had a pleasant stay here. The property is too beautiful and can't be described with words. Must visit to experience how nature, heritage and luxury blend together to provide you with an exceptional five star experience.

Excellent public areas, large number of restaurants, calm and quiet atmosphere and surroundings, friendly and very helpful service staff. Great breakfast too.

One of the front desk team and the breakfast host were business-like but not welcoming.

The facility was truly amazing. Well kept. Interesting and fun

I was disappointed that they ran out of all but one beer (this surprised me), I ordered the only one they had (500ml Budweiser) and they brought me a 330 ml Budweiser and charged me for 500 ml and were unwilling to adjust the price. For a very high end hotel this is unacceptable behaviour.

The hotel and resort location was fabulous. Lovely large bedroom and bathroom Good choice of restaurants Layout and environment of accommodation beautiful. The gardens and pool very lush Very courteous and helpful staff

The only negative points were the drawers in the bedroom had a musty smell which transferred onto clothing. This needs to be addressed if possible.
