Located 800m from Mannadi railway staion . Therefore mobility is very convenient . Rooms are very clean with facilities beyond our expectations . Air conditioning , fans, television , electric kettle , glasses , towels , blankets, soop, toothbrush and toothpaste all provided. Rooms are spacious , and attched bathroom was also very clean with hot water facilities . There are many restaurant in two minutes walk distance , offering wide variety of delicious food for very cheap price. There is 24/7 reception .

Do not expect very clam environment or absolute silance at night. Guests turnover is high , therefore sleep may disturbed. We stayed twice in this lodge during our stay in india. First time i made online reservation will boooking.com . Second time we went without reservation . Most of facilities that were offered first time was not there in second time. When we asked management, they replied that those were offered only for online reservations . But they charged even more for room on our second visit. Workers insist for tips when checking out room. On our first check in person on reception ( short , dark skin, curly hair person ) tried to charge extra , but when we show our reservation and insist exactly same price, they agreed.

This is a 'no-frills' kind of a place, but everything worked - the aircon was cold and the showers were hot! The room also had a great ceiling fan, which was quiet overnight. Although in a busy side-street, my room (603) was pleasantly quiet - although there's no escaping early morning prayers from the nearby Mosque. Apart from once, the WiFi worked really well. All the staff were really helpful and polite. The metro station 'Mannadi' is a 10 minute walk away and is a great way to not get caught-up in the crazy traffic, especially to-and-from the airport.

Well-managed hotel, with efficient staff. Its the only place in India I've seen with an actual printed cleaning rota timetable on the corridor wall. My small room was clean and had some basic furniture, good fan and AC. Wifi not great but ok. There was almost no traffic noise audible. Plenty of interesting temples, food stalls and shops nearby. And some ok restaurants. It's a10 minute walk to Mannadi metro station, which gives good access to sprawling Chennai and a direct line to the airport. Recommended.

There's nothing to say here that is in the hotel's power to fix, but be aware that the surrounding streets are narrow and chaotic - a bit like like Pahar Ganj in Delhi. And a nearby mosque did a very loud call to prayer most mornings I was there, at 5.30am. Neither was a major problem for me, but just so you know.

The location is in rather dirty, noisy, crowded part of town but quite colourful, nice to see. Alcohol prohibited, which is not easy to but in Tamil Nadu (TASMAC store on LG floor of Express Avenue Mall recommended).

The hotel is located in an ethnic area, it is very interesting to plunge into the life of ordinary local people, there are many Hindu temples nearby with beautiful roofs in the Dravidian style. There is also a Muslim mosque nearby. It is very convenient to get to many attractions. The room had everything you needed, water was brought every day. There are many places nearby where you can eat national Indian cuisine. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unlike many other hotels in India where I have stayed, their service is very fast and efficient. They helped me with all my requests and when I checked out they helped me book a taxi to the airport at a low price. I was very pleased with my stay in this place!

You have to understand that this is not Rosewood Hong Kong, not Aman Tokyo or Marina Bay Sands. But if you are looking for a simple hotel at a reasonable price with pleasant service, this is a great place. Therefore, there was nothing that I didn’t like.

I was actually so scared with so many fake reviews in many hotels in Chennai. (Especially OYO, terrible hotel I've ever had...) But this hotel was a REALLY GOOD ! I can recommend to everyone ! :D Very well maintained and very clean room & bathroom. Even common space was very clean and hygienic. The receptionist was very kind and helpful, they are the best receptionist in Chennai among my experience. There are so many restaurants around the hotel, I will definitely come back here if I'll have an occasion.

I stayed one week longer, because after one night I felt very comfortable there. Very friendly and helpful staff! Some staff members speak good English, everyone tries very hard to ensure a good stay. I payed too much and didn't notice it, they gave me the money (1000rs) back. Very honest people! Location is good, 10 minutes walk to metro. Hot water all day and shower available. Wifi strong and stable, could watch streaming provider at my laptop in HD. Hotel and room very clean. Good smell in room and bathroom. Room and bathroom are in good shape. Good AC. Elevator for the room in 5th floor, has a nice view. Safe and good stay, good value for money.

Every day at 4:30 am the call of a muazzin can be heard for a few minutes. You quickly get used to it and can go back to sleep or get up :)

Great location in some very interesting little streets. A real snapshot of life in india. We loved wandering around the area. Very safe and friendly. Airtel shop a few hundred metres away to get local sims as a foreigner. 900 in a prepaid taxi from the airport. 200 from hotel to central train station in auto. Room was clean and there was good hot water and AC. Comfy beds and a pretty quiet room. Really tasty food all around. We stayed 3 nights. Great intro to India.

AC didn’t work in the first room we tried but they quickly changed us to another room which was great. Manager was very professional and helpful.
