1. Staff was courteous . we arrived quite late by 1am and they were available for smooth checkin 2. The room was quite big , mountain view as booked 3. Bathrooms were clean and hot water was available at all times 4. Enough sofa space and seating for group of people 5. we had asked for extra bed which was prepared before our arrival itself 6. Location is quite good and about 8-10 mins to MG road which has all eateries 7. Property is beautiful - lots of flowers , cleans and heritage portions of the hotel , good view 8. Taxis were allowed till inside so luggage management was easy 9. Did not try the food as MG road was so near - did swiggy and it was accessible

- different tea varities would be nice - had only assam team - no infusion or green tea variants

The property is beautiful, with spectacular views (weather permitting!). We had a very comfortable and clean room with a balcony and it was a lovely place to sit and relax. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, they helped organise taxis and made suggestions for activities. They also had late night dinner ready for us twice. We actually chose to extend our stay by a few nights because we were so comfortable there. The location is good too, a short walk to the centre and not too many stairs/steep hills unlike lots of Gangtok.

The Netuk House is comfortably located in the centre of Gangtok: it’s quiet and only a 5-minutes walk to the MG marg. The architecture is (partly)traditional Sikkimese. Beautiful! The rooms with authentic interior design elements are comfortable. From the balcony you have a beautiful view on the Kanchenjunga mountain on clear days. The owner and staff are kind and helpful.

The buffet style breakfast is basic. The mattress in our room was a bit soft in the middle, so we ended up ’rolling down’ towards each other during the night.

The hotel is a nice old residential building so it gives a homely vibe. The courtyard is green and full of plants and offers amazing views of the Himalayas. It is also located on a side street so you're away from the city's loudness. At the same time walkable distance to the main shopping street, MG road. The staff is very friendly, helpful and hospitable. There was a problem with the water heaters during our stay, and they promptly changed our room. The food at the hotel is amazing and their Sikkimese thali is a must-try. We didn't bother eating anywhere else in Gangtok. They also organised the traditional millet beer “Chang” one evening, which was another great experience.

Card payments were a bit of a challenge. Hopefully, they will update their payment system in the future.

The property was fantastic, the manager and staff were very gracious, responding quickly to every request, making us feel immediately at home. Our son got a gastrointestinal bug and the manager and staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was great too

The only hiccup was a short power outage (not the properties fault probably) and the WiFi that could be stronger in some of the rooms.

Location is good, tucked away on Tibet Road yet walking distance from New Market. Breakfast, especially the "Himalayan" breakfast is good, eggs a bit oily. Very good staff, accomodated our requests and courteous. The view of Kanchenjunga when the cloud lifts is wonderful.

Hot water in my bathroom did not work the first day. On the second, worked in shower but not in the basin. The drainage in bath area needs to be covered.

The property has a wholesome feel that really helps you get to a vacation mood faster. It has well tended gardens and the food is sourced locally which are big plus points. The rooms are very clean and well maintained.

The pillows were very old and I wanted them to be changed to new ones but I don't think they had any.

A gem in Gangtok, this hotel is the perfect choice when visiting the region. It offers breathtaking views of the valley. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are clean. The hotel's location is just a 5-minute walk from MG Market, the city center, and the pedestrian street where you can find all the shops and restaurants you need. Additionally, they provide reasonably priced laundry services. It's worth noting that while booking.com states that booking and cancellation are free, a 10% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

Special thanks to Mr.Bappa Laha (Hotel Manager) for his superb hospitality. He allotted me a mountain view room. Other staff are well. The kitchen staff are also good.

many times Kitchen staff are not picking up the intercom calls. Strict Dinner order timing. after 8 pm they will not receive your dinner order. after 9 pm kitchen will be closed and they will not serve dinner in your room

Everything was excellent, from the support for activities and the comfort of the room to the staff, at every level, that went out of their way to be helpful. I don't often award a 10, but this is worth it.

Laundry took a while to return, but it did in the end, nice and clean.
