Excellent resort suitable as an event venue or as a start for a trip exploring Assam. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We particularly appreciated that the staff involved us in the various festivals going on in the resort, including the harvest festival, for which there was a special menu in the restaurant. The resort is located just at the edge Guwahati, somewhat uphill, meaning that the air quality is much better than in the city, especially in the evenings.

There were some problems with the WiFi. Apple devices did not connect at all, and for Windows devices the connectivity was very intermittent.

The service, care and attention from the staff is exceptional. The restaurant and the choice at breakfast is excellent. Guwahati is a busy, noisy and dusty town. The Greenwood resort is an oasis of calm and beautiful gardens which I found very relaxing.

My experience of the internet reception was intermittent and unpredictable. I understand from the very helpful IT technician (who did his best to help me) that the hotel system is undergoing an upgrade. I hope they'll consider installing a secure system as their current internet is open.

Early mrng when I asked for milk tea ... one of the staff told me that there is a kettle n tea bags available in the room so u can make it yourself. Well, that's rude. I raised a complaint, but nothing was done... well !!!

Ambiance of the resort

Housekeeping service was disappointing and even the AC in the room was not working well. On repeated request also it was not repaired. Ac was dripping water and the floor became all wet.

The greens surrounding almost all area, the very homely ambience and the Cafe Bagan in particular was a beautiful space ♥️

Can do a better job in the housekeeping area, especially washing of the sheets

The room was spacious, neat and had all the required amenities. The property was very well planned and designed.

The breakfast was very minimal and the staff behaviour both at the front desk and restaurant was not the standard expected from this kind of place. They need to be a bit more courteous and customer oriented.
