The staff did not understand everything but tried to help. They were VERY friendly. Ask them to organize a taxi, and they will do it and tell you what you REALLY have to pay. This was sooo helpful. The rooms were very beautiful. It is a heritage hotel, it really looks like a former palast which got a second chance

It has a nice view from the window, interesting, but loud. Don't choose this hotel, if you need silence! The breakfast would profit from a bigger choice. The family room was enough for a family of five people, don't trust the recommendation of booking.com, you only need this room, the two beds are very large! .

The location is fantastic, short walk to the city palace grounds with the Hawa Mahal and other attractions. Felt safe to walk the streets even at night. The staff were very helpful, and although it was a bit difficult to communicate as their English is not great, they were always putting in the effort to make us feel comfortable

The hotel rooms were comfortable, although the rooms facing the street get a lot of traffic noise, and the rooms away from the street have no airflow without windows.

We stayed here for 4 nights, so the virsat mahal quickly felt like home to us during our stay in jaipur. the first night we checked into a room in which the ac did not work, and the staff kindly relocated us to a room of similar size/value that had a working ac. the room was very comfortable and big enough to feel like more than just a hotel room, but like an apartment. the bathrooms are less than luxurious, but you come to expect this after traveling for so long. there are very heavy traffic sounds coming from just outside, as the hotel is on a main street. it does die down a bit late at night, but it also resumes very early in the morning. we were okay with this, but perhaps for someone who has difficulty falling asleep with loud noises.. this may not be the right choice. the staff was very helpful, arranging tuk tuks for us a few times at very fair prices. it is walking distance to many great restaraunts and sites as well; the hawa mahal is literally around the corner. (and a fantastic bakery across the street)

the wifi is a little spotty. sometimes works really great, and sometimes doesnt work at all.

The room was clean, with complimentary tea and coffee, and the location is perfect, close to the pink walled city and Hawa Mahal. The staff is extremely helpful and even went the extra mile finding someone to help me wear my saree, I was beyond grateful! The palace is beautiful too. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Jaipur.

This hotel is in a good location near the main bazar and city palace. The staff were especially accommodating and quickly brought whatever we requested. They also allowed us to rest in the foyer for several hours and took care of our bags after we had checked out.

A number of options on the room service menu were unavailable.

Location is very convenient to Hawa Mahal. Otherwise, surrounding area is located busy street, especially next to a roundabout. Probably you will hearing horn sounds depending your room location. Big thanks to them for allowing me for early check in as I was suffering from food poisoning during my Kashmir trip.

Floor cleanliness

We had a lovely stay-rooms are clean & common areas are also clean. The staff was kind and accommodating and helped us arrange for our laundry to be done, book a driver back to Delhi, and helped up make a call to Japan Airlines in New Delhi due to a scheduling change we needed to make. Anytime we needed anything, the staff was there to assist us. Upon check-in, they showed us two different rooms that we could choose from which was very nice of them. The room was clean, the water was hot (remember you must turn on the water heater ~5 min before you wish to shower), and the bed was comfortable after a long day. The air conditioner was cold and Wifi worked well enough to stream Netflix from our laptop in the evenings. There are a few good ATM's just across the hotel and a short walk past local vendors has you at Hawa Mahal. Their breakfast buffet is simple but you can also order an egg omelet and they'll have it ready in ~10 min. Remember, this is India so you will hear noise from the street during the day/evening hours. For a budget hotel, this is worth the money.

The hotel echo's due to the indoor atrium/courtyard. Expect to hear noise, this is India after all.

The staff speaks english well which the accent is understandable (cuz we are not english native speaker). They are friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and The room decoration was beautiful. Elevator is well maintenanced and looks luxurious. The location is near Hawa Mahal, ATM is 10 meter away. There was indian food shop in the front hotel.

No tooth paste and tooth brush, but no problem because we already bring our own.

Very helpful and cooperative staff. The entire staff was very eager to help, Babluji always made sure that we have everything we need. Even the kitchen staff and the waiters were very eager to help. The manager provided us with some great tips on nearby locations.
