The staff is wonderful. Waking up with a mountain view is also perfect. I also liked the food here except the breakfast which was very basic. It is one of those resorts where you spend the entire weekend at the resort without venturing out much. The great staff and service make the experience worth it. Please tip them well.

Getting to the hotel is a bit of a pain as it's further off from the city centre and one has to pass through this awful road (courtesy the Mohan Meakin Distillery's refusal to fix their private road) which stretches for a couple of kilometres. The setting is a little rustic as advertised but I wasn't too charmed by it. Also, one should call ahead and ask about their neighbours and if you are traveling with your family you should make sure you aren't next to a boisterous boys group playing loud music that echoes in the hills till very, very late. I also thought that the food, although good, was a tad overpriced, but I guess that's how these places make their money.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in these beautiful mud cottages in Kasauli by Echor, and I must say it was an amazing experience that exceeded all my expectations. Tucked away amidst the picturesque mountain valleys, this hidden gem offers a perfect blend of tranquility, comfort, and a complete village vibe. One of the standout features of this retreat is the private lawn that comes with each cottage. It's like having your own piece of paradise, perfect for sipping morning tea while soaking in the serenity of the surroundings

Location is great! Far from the city rush and the crowd. Calm, peaceful stay in the woods. You actually get to see rare birds and hear chirping! Watch stars in a crystal clear sky. Nicely managed and maintained property. Lots of walkways, aesthetically crafted huts and surroundings. Food was good. Courteous staffs led by Mr. Hardev, always ready to help with a smiling face.

Approach road to the resort (a km approx) needs immediate repair.

the rooms and the open space outside our room were comfortable, the restaurant staff was very nice, they accommodated for our needs.

housekeeping in general was tardy, the staff comprised mostly of what seemed like freshers with no experience, and hence needed to be told how to clean even the floor. the restaurant could do with proper air-conditioning…

It is a village themed property , mud cottages offer a rustic and serene experience. It is peaceful ambiance , breathtaking views , and delicious food . The staff is very friendly and helpful . Are you seeking for a naure-friendly retreat with warm hospitality and a village-like atmosphere.

The location and the room is awesome. Staffs are very polite and helpful. Complete privacy was there.

In facilities they mentioned they have in house cafe and bar but when asked for the same, the staff said we have a shop where snacks are available and they are not aware of the cafe or bar. Please look into this.

Property location is beautiful, staff is curtuous and the food is really good. They could accomodate of our request for specific food for toddlers

The 3-4 km road stretch to reach this place is really bad. The place is not v suitable for elderly people due to high amount of stairs
