Extremely friendly staff everywhere. Very helpful and professional.

The ACs in the rooms are EXTREMELY noisy. We asked to change our room and when we heard the ACs in other rooms that we were shown we realized that it's the same everywhere. The entire hotel seemed to be a bit damp and smelled a bit musty - probably because of the monsoons rains. In places one could see that the walls/roof had become damp and the hotel staff had placed buckets and towels near some windows to prevent/collect leaking rainwater. So the entire hotel came off as a little bit rundown.

The hotel is oldschool, but good quality. The rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom is very nice. There’s a swimming pool that was a great thing to relax in the afternoon. The staff in the reception is super nice!

Restaurant- This definitely needs more attention. We ordered a meal, while there were only two other gentleman already eating. After 20 minutes waiting, they told us there’s no paneer, so we changed our order. I received my dish, while my husband was still awaiting. I made it to finish and he got his dish after one hour, partially mistaken. Meanwhile there was a big group that came after us getting food quickly and their table was full, we were waiting with empty one.

The hotel exterior and interior is beautiful and we had spacious and nicely decorated room provided to us. All the staff were courteous, friendly and caring. Special mention of Manish Chaurasia from the Gautama restaurant and the caretaker Dinesh Dagar who ensured that we were very comfortable during our stay. Breakfast had a very good spread of various dishes and wide variety of them every day.

Amazing room with a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge King Size bed. Excellent breakfast buffet. I personally recommend the local ayurvedic massage parlour, Tapovan Ayurvedic I got 2 different types of massage there, both excellent, genuinely ayurvedic and totally professional by a guy from Kerala. Very polite and dedicated staff all over the hotel.

Very cold room, no central heating (12° outside in January, not much more inside). Very poor wi-fi, which is totally unacceptable in a hotel of that standing (and apparently the management has done nothing to change this, if we read previous Booking.com comments...) Some items are ridiculously overpriced, like IRs 439.- for a pot of tea...

Great pool area to relax in. Staff were marvellous. We stayed 8 days in the end because we were ill. Staff got a doctor for us and looked after us. Usually people only stay one or two nights so we were unusual but it was a great place to recuperate. Clean, modern hotel. Good bar/restaurant. Only 100 rupees in tuk tuk to temples. No need to organise a formal trip.

very good except salt and chilly content much higher than nomally seen at 5 star hotels. Restaurant manager and Mr kuldeep provided excellent service and quick to respond and helpful.

wi fi was discoonected on second day and it was not restored even after complaint. wi fi service is rated third rate and the response of the person at reception very bad in this regard, otherwise no other issue.

It was an elegant property, obviously not new, but well maintained. It had many antiques, and the room was very comfortable. The restaurant was good, and the reception staff helpful. It is well situated.

I felt the room service staff were at time a bit clinging; they steadily reminded you that they were the one taking care of your room. Having been in india numerous times I felt the real reason was a reminder to give them tip later on. There were too many staff to remember who was who, so I left tip in a box in the reception instead.

Many choices were available also we had the option to order items we wanted. Food was fresh and delicious.. Very attentive and pleasant staff from Security to Housekeeping. We definitely will stay again in this place.

Exceptional Staff! Some of the staff members I can remember (Suresh Sharma, Surendra Sharma, Sukvendra, Kuldeep Shukla etc) went above and beyond in making our stay very pleasant. Property is very clean, quiet and has an excellent location.

Wifi could be better.

I really appreciated the curated art in the hotel and its overall large and welcoming layout. Staff was very friendly, kind, and accommodating. They went out of their way to help us with Indian train schedules and purchasing tickets online and seemed always available and alert to help with anything we needed.
