This place is pet friendly, which is always a pro for me. The staff at the property were very polite and helpful and were even able to provide some food for our dog. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. They had a geyser for hot water which was definitely necessary. The food is simple but tasty and the quantity is quite good considering the cold will make you feel hungry.

The rooms are a bit small for the price and could have been cleaner. I got the impression that the carpet hadn't been cleaned in a while. The food preparation does take a bit of time, since they prepare everything to order otherwise the food would get cold.

The location was amazing!! Right on the way to Yumthang Valley and Zero point. The views from the room were also extremely pretty! Views of Mt Katao and the Lachung Town. A tiny issue was absence of heaters in the room but heaters were available on request at the rate of Rs. 500/- per day. However, due to the electricity going off ever so often the heater was not very effective. In any case, all in all very cosy rooms with wonderful views. Good enough for 1/2 nights. The food was below average to average but good enough for the price one is paying.

The location was convenient. The staff were very courteous and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The room and washrooms were clean and hygienic. The room came with a balcony with amazing view.

The Apple Valley Cottages is an excellent stay for those who want to enjoy a mountain view from the balcony. The staff is so polite and cooperative. The food is awesome especially the alu-pyaaz paratha for breakfast. The manager, Mr Lapka Lepcha is very supportive and polite. He understands the needs of tourists very well. I will highly recommend this stay for Lachung.

Located at a good location and safe for couples..You can visit lachung and mt katao easily. The rooms are clean and the view from the room is very beautiful. Service is also very good and food is fantastic for this remote location. Must visit for everyone. The people of the cottage are too nice and helpful.

Beautiful property with amazing views! We were stuck here during the north sikkim crisis and the owner Lakpa took care of us like his own family. We owe our life to him!

There’s nothing to not like.

the location is excellent, room service was good, you can see the mountains from your room, food quality, staff behavior were good, only disadvantage is during monsoon you may find some insects, but that is true for any hilly region. Geyser, electric kettle everything were good, room number - 303 was pretty nice experience

The manager Mr. Lakpa is simply outstanding in terms of behaviour and customer care. The food cooked by Chefs Mr. Bimal and Mr. Siddhart was excellent. A picturesque view of the valley is seen from the balcony.

Televisions do not work. International credit cards are not accepted.

It's a good property in affordable range. The staff is also friendly. You just need to order food 2 hours prior to your time as they make it fresh.

This is one of the oldest hotels in Lachung. Location is awesome. It's on the way to Yumthang valley or zero point.
